Popcorn. Milk duds. Twizzlers. And something called jaffa cakes The package looked good.

[pantry raid! she dumps the haul on the couch and takes her seat.]

[That is a good haul and pleased werewolf is pleased. She grabs the remote to DVD player and starts up the movie while reaching for the Twizzlers first.]

They smell like oranges.

They do? [She picks one up and opens it to get a better small.] Oh, wow, they do. That's some nose you have, huh?

[impetere]

[She gives a bit of a shrug.]

I've always had a pretty good sense of smell.

[She very slowly gauges who to come out of the werewolf closet too. She knows that not a lot of people around here have things against werewolves and there are a fair amount of non-humans around, but it's still her secret to tell and she'll tell it when she's ready.]

My boyfriend back home did too. But that was because of the whole...werewolf thing.

[surprise?]

[ ... Oh. Well then. That clears up a lot. Cora's eyes widen in surprise at first, but in the end she just smirks.]

Me too.

[Willow doesn't realize what Cora's said at first, so she just smiles and nods and then suddenly her expression drops to shock-]

Wait, really? That's awesome!

[impetere]

[She laughs a bit at that, before shrugging.]

I guess? I've always been one, so it's not like I know how to be any other way.

[olreliable]

Really? I thought it was a whole... bitey thing.

[impetere]

Not where I'm from. I mean, you can get bitten, but you can be born a wolf too. My family has been werewolves for a ... really long time.

[olreliable]

Huh... That's... huh.

[it's really cool but it's new! and she's processing it.]

So is it still just the once a month thing?

[impetere]

[There's a pause as she tries to suss out what exactly she means but it clicks after a second (wisdom 21).]

I can shift whenever I want, but I have to control it the most on the full moon. It's easier for me since I was born a wolf, but I feel it just as strongly as the rest of us do.

[olreliable]

...Can I see?

[Wow Willow. That's sort of rude and dangerous and... Well, she already asked so apparently she will just wait for an answer.]

It's just... Oz had to be locked up. It happened to him, not something he could choose. I've always been curious about it.

[impetere]

[Uhhhhhhhhh ... ]

Sure.

[If she wants to see it, then Cora won't deny her that. It's not like she's putting her on the spot in front of a group of people. She shifts back a bit to give her some space so that she doesn't accidentally knick her. She closes her eyes for a moment and when she opens them they flash gold, her face shifting as she slowly lets her wolf slide to the surface. Her brow becomes more defined, ears shape into a long point, and claws extend from her fingers along with her canines sharpening into fangs.

After it's settled, she looks up at her before shrugging slightly.]

That's it.

[It's funny because to Willow, it looks more vampire than werewolf. Thanks, Whedon. But she watches, fascinated, because she's pretty sure Cora doesn't want to snack on her. I mean- they have Twizzlers, after all.]

What, like that's not a big deal? Trust me- it's a very big deal.

[impetere]

[She gives a bit of a shrug as she shifts back again, returning to her regular girl face.]

Most wolves can shift like that - at least where I'm from. The really powerful ones - like the alphas? They could turn into full wolves.

[olreliable]

[The appropriate reaction is probably shock or awe or maybe fear. But Willow has been around so much crap for the last three years that her fear response is a little stunted. And unfortunately, her association with werewolves is mostly Oz, and while the wolfy parts of him are not cute and cuddly, the rest of him is, so her response to the whole full wolf thing is simply:]

Aww!

I mean... [She clears her throat and tries to look more impressed.] oooooh.

[impetere]

[She laughs a bit at that.]

Depending on who the wolf is, the first one could totally be accurate.

[She grins, glad that Cora agrees.]

Well, I think it sounds really cool. Especially if you can control it more and its not just all grr... argh.

[tears the fourth wall to shreds.]

[Who needs that lousy fourth wall anyway?

Cora nods in agreement.]

Yep. Especially since the last thing I want to do is hurt anyone.

Well, for what it's worth, you don't give off a creepy baddie vibe.

[She smiles a bit at that before nodding.]

I appreciate that.

[Willow gives a grin before turning back to the movie.]

Oh, it's a good part--

[And then they watched movies and ate snacks and did chatty things for awhile? /scene?]
