I dunno, I never asked her. I sort of assumed it was just because it's a flower and my mom really likes flowers. I coulda been any flower name, I suppose. Daisy. [ a daisy sprouts to join the violet. the book is unharmed, fyi. ] Rose. [ a primrose sprouts. ] Bryony, Heather, Jasmine, Lily, Bluebell, Ianthe, Poppy. [ yes, will now has a bundle of wildflowers, one for each flower she mentioned. she's not even doing it on purpose, really, it's just instinctive. ]
