Psh. Maybe in the 40s or in the land of sobriety. Luckily, we're in the land of scotch fueled bad life choices. Wanna be a bad life choice?

[that makes his eyebrows raise.] What did you have in mind?

[ she sets the glass down, pressing her hands onto the bar, fingers splaying as her chin lifts defiantly. ] I've had a really crappy week and Malina promised me a castle but this place has holes in it and zero turndown service and I know I sound like a spoiled princess, but it's the holidays and I'm all alone and I just want something to go well for me baring Santa being as real as dragons and unicorns apparently are. What can you do with that?

[alex just slow stares while she goes on and on bc he's such a great person.] When you said "be a bad life choice", I assumed you wanted sex and not a therapy session, sooooooo ...

See when I think knightly things, I think of sword fights and, like, jousting. Not stopping muggers in a shady back alley, but Malina was so impressed she said I could come play with you guys.
