[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

[Elena comes in shortly after Vi, taking her seat near the door where she sat during the briefing.]

[Felicity will also slip right in behind the other two ladies, settling in the chair next to Vi to ... probably make faces at Lucia until they're ready to start. Babies are very distracting.]

[Des comes in pretty much on Elena's heels. Despite the fact that he said he wasn't going to stick around for this, he feels like Wynn calling him and being like bitch where r u is more frustrating than enduring the ass-chewing that is to follow.

also he didn't do anything wrong, so whatever. he plops down on Elena's left and folds his hands behind his head.]

[Myri finds the nearest seat and sits quietly. Shayla is less concerned with her mother's more somber attitude and gives those in the room a big grin.]

[astrid comes in soon after and immediately figures out how to position herself farthest away from the babies. she does not have her customary starbucks, but instead a coffee cup she probably got from the kitchen. with 5 percent coffee 95 percent some sort of festively flavored creamer in it. she still somehow feels completely confident that any of the soon-to-come lectures won't be because of anything she did, so. w/e bitches.]

[Spike comes in and finds a chair, spinning it around so he can lean on the back rest, legs spread around it.]

Well you're all feeling chatty today.

[ Wow. This totally is not good. Despite knowing he didn't exactly fuck up completely he still feels rather guilty. Especially about the murder. Not great. He doesn't say anything when he enters. He just sorta slides into the closest empty seat. ]

[Welp at least Rose has managed a quick clean-up before the debrief, moving in to take the same seat she occupied at the briefing, her gaze sweeping the room as if looking for Wynn before slipping into her seat.

She does spy Shayla however and even the tired looking Rose can't help but manage a small smile and waggle of her fingers (H.A. 19) for her Niece.]

[Archer slides in with a Cheshire-cat like grin plastered on his face, and slouches into a chair, leaning back and resting his feet on the table.]

Damn, success tastes like Glengoolie Blue.

[And he'll pull out a flask of the finest Whiskey to celebrate the occasion, completely ignoring the tone of the room.]

Not the time. [ Buffy's in just in time to hear Archer's comment and drops a hand on his shoulder to sit beside him as if she plans to ? ?? babysit. Or maybe because she's strategizing to sit near Vi. ]

[ kat makes her way in with fred, gar and jack close on their heels. the four of them move to sit between elena and astrid, not saying much at all. ]

[ wynn gives dumage a bit of a warning gaze at the crack, before beginning to speak ] We need to discuss the turn this mission took.

That was me and Archer. [ just outright takes the blame. oh well. what's wynn gonna do, agree with her? ] There was a miscommunication in what "nonviolent" entailed and apparently once it's called it, it's really hard to convince dispatch it doesn't warrant the entire police force. Though to be fair to them, they were correct.

Officers were engaged with lethal force. Several of them died, as I hear it.

[Elena looks between Vi, Archer and Wynn, looking appropriately shocked, bordering on visibly upset. She didn't see any of that happen okay.]

That's far beyond just a simple miscommunication of what non-violent means.

[That's her tactful way of saying wtf.]

[ Buffy cranes her head to look at Archer, thinking back on the SURPRISE FIRE MAGIC he was throwing around back there. ]

I don't think anyone here knew Archer was capable of something like that. We don't even know for sure if he was in control of it, especially while being actively shot at. [ She raises her eyebrows, hoping that he ... warrants some of the benefit of the doubt she's giving him here. Since she sure af wasn't the one using lethal force out there on cops, and tbf, she didn't see anyone else doing it because it was chaos. ] Archer?
