[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies. This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.
You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. You can also specify 'single thread', meaning you want only one response for all participants, rather than multi-thread, where a number of different scenes/threads can be done as replies to the top prompt.]

In the days (and weeks) following her conversation with Wynn, Maggie begins exploring the castle. There's no rhyme or reason to where she turns up; she goes where the metaphorical wind blows her. At first, she only seems to appear near sunset and after dark, wandering the place all night. Slowly, but surely, she starts showing up earlier in the day. When you're a bartender-slash-waitress, you're used to being up all night with the club's hours. As shown with her meeting with Caroline, she isn't quite the best first thing in the morning sans caffeine.
Once she gets her bearings, she's often found in the gym, the tv room, the billiards room, the bowling alley-- well, it's probably easier to say where she won't easily be found: the firing range. Not much for guns, this one.
Also, she's often seen trying to find a place she can smoke inside (especially if smoking indoors isn't allowed. >.>) ]

Maggie May? [She feels like she's calling out the start of a Rod Stewart song, but she still does it, hoping to catch the girl's attention.]
no subject
Of course, she could always ask someone, but where's the fun in that?
When she hears her name, she hesitates. She doesn't really know anyone here, so whoever called her must be looking for her. There's a moment of indecision, a thought to duck out of sight. It's habit, instinct. Instead, she turns to the voice, fixing a bright smile. ] That would be me, yeah.

Sorry this isn't more of an official meeting, but I've never really been much for official meetings.

this particular evening, she's jumping around a punching bag with her earbuds in, listening to something or other at top volume as she beats up the bag and occasionally sings along like ] How many rules am I to break before you understand that your double-standards don't mean shit to me? I know exactly what you say when I turn and walk a-- oh my god.
[ ... that's a person. yep. definitely a person. ]
no subject
It's hard to miss the other woman in the room, who seems so sure that she's alone. Maggie can hear the music blaring from the earbuds (listen 26), and she stands there watching. When she's spotted, she just smiles. ] Good song. I'm more of a Shoop girl, myself. Or Let's Talk About Sex.

[ tbf to, like, dante and cora... he likes country and stuff and cora was raised by wolves. thea's love of all things early nineties (and before her freakin' birth) is part of her rich hipster aesthetic. ]

You're another new one, aren't you?

Maggie-May never had much patience for television shows. There was always something else to be done, something better, or somewhere else to be. But today, she has no energy or patience for her usual pastimes. That's why she's sprawled out in the TV room, surrounded by a helping of junk food snacks.
When Zaihne walks in, her gaze flashes to his face first, then the bottle he's carrying. Hello, drinks, old friend. ]
I don't know about another, but I am new, yeah.

[He smirks, crossing one leg over the other as he leans back in his seat, stretching an arm out across the back of his chair.]
So. Out of curiosity-- first impressions of the place?
no subject
[ Does she mean that? She's going to sell it quite well, at least. (diplomacy? 34) ]
The people or the building? Just so we're in agreement of what 'the place' is.

[ Maggie's been trying to entertain herself, lining up trick shot after trick shot. It's fun for a bit, but utterly pointless without someone to ooh and aah over them. She starts to round the table, fishing balls out of the pockets. ]
I never see anyone else in here, which is a complete fucking shame. It's a nice table.
