[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

regina marches into his office with an air of owning the place, rapping the door without waiting for a response. ] You're Doctor Sweets?

Sweets falters for a moment, mouth gaping before he nods.]

... Yes? Can I help you?

That remains to be seen. [ still, she closes the door, trapping him in there with her :) ]

But Sweets keeps his cool (will save 24), and gestures to the seat across from her.]

If it's all the same, I'll stand. [ it's not really a question ] I want to talk about Emma Swan.

[He pauses, nodding once before waiting for her to continue.]

What about her?

[unhappily]

I take it you heard about what happened.

[likeababyduck]

I did, in bits and pieces.

[But it's not as though Emma is patient, so he's just considering her words carefully for a moment, trying to find out what she's fishing for (sense motive 32).]

[ it seems like she thinks she has some greater ulterior motive here, but he gets the feeling she really does just... need to talk ] She killed Hook. Killed him, because of what she is.

And Wynn's still letting her stay here.

[He relaxes slightly, leaning back in his seat a bit as he watches her.]

I don't think a decision Wynn came to lightly. I also think that you could say Sir Swan was also the victim of ... very unique circumstances.

Likely her own arrogance. Have you ever talked to her?

I can't say I have much experience with her, no.

[Only what his patients have said about her which is a wash, really. Some opinions are better than others, but he's not going to share that with Regina.]

Do you?

More than I'd like, and apparently plenty that I don't remember.

She's the biological mother of my son. And apparently can't deal with the fact that he still considers me his mother.

[He nods once, considering.]

I take it you adopted him?

[unhappily]

Yes, although I don't remember any of it. It was before I came to this world.

He's here. Henry Mills?

They tried to keep the truth from me, for months.

[His face is sympathetic for a moment.]

I don't know Henry, but that must have been hard to hear - that they were keeping this huge secret from you. Do you wish you had found out sooner?

[unhappily]

They never should have kept it in the first place. They had no right.

No, I agree. That's a huge secret to keep from you, whether you remember him or not.

[There's a pause as he considers something.]

How old is Henry?

[unhappily]

He's a grown man, certainly old enough to make his own decisions.

[likeababyduck]

[Yeah, that's what he thought. There aren't a whole lot of kids hanging out around the Knights.]

Does he want a relationship with you?

[unhappily]

He did everything he could to ensure we would have one from the moment I arrived. It's that woman who is on a crusade to convince Wynn that I shouldn't be anywhere near him.

[He nods for a moment as he considers. It certainly is a funny thing, the woman who killed a fellow knight judging Regina for instances she can't remember and trying to keep Regina away from her son. If she's supposedly bringing Wynn into things there must be something at the root of it, but he can't put his finger on what from Regina's perspective.]

I see.

[There's a pause before he shifts forward a bit.]

First of all? If Henry is old enough that he is no longer a minor, then it's his decision whether or not the two of you have a relationship - not Emma's. Do you know why she seems to think that you shouldn't be around him?

[unhappily]

She's convinced that I'm a monster. I don't think I need to point out this is coming from the woman who literally tried to eat her boyfriend.

[He nods because yeah, that sounds a little suspect.]

Has Wynn come to you to discuss this? Do you know for sure that it was brought to his attention?

[unhappily]

My own mentor knight was in on the secret. They all have to know.
