The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

Yeah, this is just procedure. [while all of this has been happening, she's been putting small, sticky patches on his legs, arms, and chest. sorry about ur suit dimitris (haha no she's not). (treat injury 41; she obvs knows what she's doing.) as the machine starts to spit out some readings, she frowns.] Yeah ... okay, let's get you on the stretcher.

[Elena looks absolutely, positive offended.]

Seriously? What the hell did I do? This is some bullshit. She's trying to help and I'm an innocent bystander that some asshole ran into.

[But she did not nat 20 her will save so she's...going.

As long as they get Dimitris out of there, and it looks like they're doing it so far, then that's what matters. They'll figure this out.]

[ She whips her head around like wtf why is this happening everything is not fine but she realizes quickly that the best way to put everyone at ease is to ... remove what seems threatening and sketchy. So she holds her hands up and moves to follow the guards with the ready complaint, ] Going with you where?

[ dumage looks back at the others, then to amanda, her will crumbling in the face of the opportunity to get her sister out of here ] Fine, yes. Go with the nice King.

Tell them to call me when they know where they're taking him. [ then to valentin, as he starts to draw her towards the side doors ] You can find out where they're taking him, right?

Believe me, I can find out anything you need to know. [ with that, he motions to his ensemble, who follow them out the doors ]

[ meanwhile, with decker on his feet, she nods for him to follow the guards taking lance and buffy away and turns back to steve and felicity ] I'm riding with.

[ decker moves to fall in step with the guards, fixing his suit as he does so and ripping off the flower ] Less talk. C'mon.

[recruited]

[ That's not good. Steve turns squarely to Kitty when she announces she's riding with them. They don't need her being there. It'll ruin this. Probably more than Buffy's attempted doctor bit. ]

Ma'am. [ His voice is calm and even (diplomacy 23). ] That ambulance isn't big enough for the work we're gonna have to do in there for him and you. You're more than welcome to have someone drive you to the hospital, but I'm gonna have to say no to you riding with us. I'm very sorry. I know you're worried about him, but I personally promise we will do everything in our power to take care of him. He'll be fine in our hands. Alright? [ Steve even reaches out to squeeze one of hers. An attempt to be reassuring. ] Trust me.

[allmydreams]

[Meanwhile Felicity is just going to help Astrid get him onto the stretcher, trying to move him as smoothly and gently (strength 6 natural 20, thank you action point).]

[pathology]

[astrid leaves steve to fend off kitty and helps felicity get him onto the stretcher in an amazing show of upper body strength on her part ok (str 18). once he's on the stretcher, she talks to dimtris:] We're going to give you aspirin and clopidogrel to keep your blood from clotting. Are you in pain?

[ kitty looks down at steve's hand, then over at dimitris on the stretcher. ] Fine. But I'm driving right behind him. What hospital are you going to?

I'm not feeling any pain now. And I don't want any drugs in my body until Kitty has contacted my personal physician. Kitty, did you hear that? Get on the damn phone.

[ she just shoots him a baleful look, before turning back to steve, like w/e let him whine over there a second ]

[ dumage, after watching amanda go, turns to her mother, who is standing aside fretting with jacques' hand on her shoulder ] The two of you should go too. I'll take care of this. [ her mother looks appalled at the suggestion. "But darling, we should go to the hospital, shouldn't we?" ]

[recruited]

[ He doesn't hesitate (wisdom 19) to spit out the hospital name they got the ambulance from. It could have gone worse. ] Don't cause an accident, miss. We're gonna be moving fast to get him there quickly. [ Steve steps back to rejoin Astrid and Felicity hopefully. ]

[allmydreams]

[Felicity nods in agreement with what he's saying more than willing to let Astrid be the doctor in this and argue patient care while they will start moving him - moderately - out towards the ambulance so they can leave.]

[pathology]

[astrid makes a ~stern doctor face~] This is not a discussion. I'm trying to save your life. She can contact your primary care physician, but time is of the essence here.

It will only take a moment. [ kitty follows closely behind them, taking out her phone and dialing a number quickly, lifting it to her ear ]

[ dimitris lowers his head with a sigh, pinching his eyes closed as they head toward the doors. dumage is left there arguing with her parents... ]

[recruited]

Take all the time you need. You know where we'll be.

[ Steve falls into step with Astrid and Felicity and discretely gestures that they hurry it up. He doesn't want Madame Scary Eyes to follow too closely.

He hasn't had much time to really pay attention to the comms. But they're moving. He takes it upon himself to move ahead once they're outside to open the back ambulance doors. ]

[allmydreams]

[And with that the three of them will load Sarandis into the ambulance, and Felicity will make her way up to the front and slide into the shotgun seat as they need Astrid to doctor and Steve to punch if necessary. She'll continue to play the part until Sarandis is out cold, talking to Gar as though she were the actual ambulance driver.]

Potential heart attack. We need to get him to the hospital ASAP.

[pathology]

[also to gar, continuing her doctoring:] Make sure the primary angioplasty coordinator knows we're coming. [and then, to sarandis:] The aspirin?

[ kitty stands outside behind the ambulance as they load, consulting with the doc on the phone, and puts a hand over the speaker to say to astrid: ] Physician says belay that. He'll meet you at the hospital. [ she digs in her purse to find her own keys-- ]

[ gar, from the front seat, stares out the window in horror, as a massive number of police cars begin approaching from every direction, sirens blaring. ] We have to go now! The doors!
