I suppose everyone has talents in more than one area. It's nice to have people to share common interests with, in your section.

I guess. I don't even know how many people I've met from each section. Sometimes I wish people had name tags.

It's easier when you're not a squire anymore. And once you've worked with more people on missions, it's difficult to forget. Most of our fellow Knights here are... quite unique.

Yeah. Some are even gold.

[Look, it takes her a while to get over stuff that is so fabulously awesome.]

We don't seem to be lacking in color, no.

Variety is the spice of life.

It's part of what makes the Knights so successful, I imagine.

Yeah, differences make groups stronger when they're united under basic tenants. Everyone's got their strengths that play off each other. Brawn is useless if you haven't got the brains.

I think that's what makes it such a community as well. No one's forced to fit into a mold just to be a part of things. In fact, Wynn encourages us all to be exactly who we are. Just the best possible version of who we are.

Its nice that the expectation doesn't seem to have a time table, either.

Well, when some knights live for hundreds of years here, I imagine everyone's sense of time is a little different.

That's true. I'm still used to 25 being old around people like me, but then, you know, I meet people who are a million in dog years.

[Yeah, that's pretty much just how she's going to phrase it forever, now.]

I wonder which one of them has been a Knight the longest. They'd have to have some wonderful tales to tell.

Well. We could ask.

[which she is going to start right now, actually, shouting across the plane.] Luthir! How long've you been a Knight?

[ rather than look startled, he merely glances over and looks reflective, before saying simply: ] 149 years.

Thanks. [Gosh, he's just so pretty. Look away, Vi.] And you, Koraith? Or is that rude? Which, in hindsight, I should have asked first probably.

Nonsense, my dear girl. Luthir has a few years on me! Right before 1900, that's when I arrived.

[graveflowers]

[She glances at Belle, shrewd.] If you're secretly three hundred, I'm actually going to get a complex.

[And you can be totally impressed with her straight forward mode of getting shit done. She's going to turn back to the menfolk though.] So that's a couple, er, few hundred years between you. Belle thought some of the older knights might have some awesome stories...
