The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

Not a clue. I don't usually hang out in the castle long enough to notice. [ or care.

I work in the city. [ his 9-5 job is v important. ] But yes, for the most part that's what I do, missions on the weekends or bank holidays.

[ shrug, he takes a long drink. ] I get bored easily.

Me too! It's such a pain, right? But that still sounds like way too much work for me.

I pretty much trolled through Reddit all day. [ not true, he was a very hard worker... but he did have all that nerdy shit open on his computer while he was working anyway. ]

What's your other job, then, when you're not being all knightly? [she's imagining something boring and deskbound if he had all this time to be browsing reddit, ok.]

I work at a green products company. [ she imagined it perfectly. but his office is so nice omg. ]

Yawn! Boring. No wonder you were on Reddit 24/7.

[ he pulls his phone out of the pocket of his jacket and surprise it's already on the front page. ] Turns out this job is just as boring.

[she laughs a little bit at his phone.] Yeah, from what I've experienced it's like five percent missions and ninety-five percent being bored as fuck. [shrug.] But it's not like I've got anything better to do, right? So whatever.
