The "afterparty" is rumored to be the real main event of the night. A black-tie affair in the lavish, opulent ballroom, it is every new Knight's chance to mingle and meet some of their new brothers in arms. Of course, a couple hours are provided following the ceremony for everyone to change, do hair and makeup, and choose from the vast array of formal attire in the closets of the balcony "dressing rooms" located at the top of spiraled staircases on either side of the ballroom. A separate dressing room exists for men and women, and they include full bathrooms (with, thankfully, very modern plumbing).

The squires are usually among the last to arrive, and the ballroom is full to the brim with a fancy array of people, of all shapes, sizes and species.

Hope you aren't shy. They're all here to meet you.

Feel free to make your own open threads for people to come congratulate your newly pledged knight.

ooc; also if your Knight wants to get all gussied up, you can make a Disguise (Cha) check for how good they were at hair/makeup/stylin', etc! This goes for... any time.

[ she looks surprised that anyone would not know what that is, but she'll take the time to explain.

she holds up one of the full shot glasses, shouting over the noise of the bar: ] You do shots off each others' bodies.

[Both of Thoster's eyebrows raise.]

Oh, I'm definitely interested. Can you show me how it works?

Sure! [ she pushes all their glasses to the side, clearing off a space on the table before patting it with her hand ] Shirt off, and climb on up! [ :) ]

[Who can say no to that?? He gets his shirt off and gets up on the table, sitting on the edge.]

[lmfao i've never done one. whatever that's what the internet is for.

Some nosy person overhears them and runs over with the making of standard tequila shots, including limes and salt. A lime wedge gets shoved in Thoster's mouth, and a stripe of salt is left on his neck. This nameless bar patron instruct Fiona:]

Lick, drink, suck.

[AND THEN THEY JUST LEAVE. Thanks random bar patron. Thoster looks a bit silly with that fruit in his mouth but he's not complaining about the idea of this at all.]

[ fiona laughs at the instructions, and then laughs some more at the fruit in thoster's mouth, but she's apparently a pro at this because she got a 19 dex check to use her mouth and tongue to her best advantage, and a 23 charisma check to look super sexy while doing it.

she slams down the shot glass, panting a little from trying to hold in her laughter, and sticking out her tongue at the taste. But she's still just grinning from ear to ear. ] A little too salty for me.

[Thoster enjoys that. A lot. Yes body shots should happen often. He grins at her once she's finished and gives her a raised eyebrow.]

Not sure what you expected, putting your tongue on a pirate, lass- Talented tongue, though it may be.

I guess I learned my lesson. [ and she gives him a light shove to move off the table so she can climb on ] Your turn?

Aye. Hope you didn't think you were getting off that easy. [After a bit of fumbling with getting her set up. Thoster shows that he's a very fast learner (or just that good) with a 17 dex check and 18 cha check. She's better than him at both aspects, but he certainly isn't doing a poor job of it. He even lingers a bit when he takes the lime from her mouth without use of his hands, leaning in a bit closer than he needs to, his hand falling to her hip before he steps back to bite the fruit in earnest.]

Can't imagine a better way to take a drink, actually.

I've been told I taste a bit like electricity, or magic, which is probably pretty accurate. Got a lot of it flowing through these veins. [ she grabs another random shot that's sitting next to her on the table and downs it effortlessly ] What is it that flows through your veins? [ as in, what's your passion, not... what flavor's your blood... ]
