[he takes pity on the kitten and picks it up while they walk to the kitchen. IT'S SO SMALL IT MIGHT GET LOST IN THE CASTLE OR SOMETHING OKAY. spoilers: he's not nearly as much of a badass as he'd like to pretend he is.] Maybe I am. Or maybe I'm not that hungry.

Not sure yet. I don't usually cook, so this might be something of an adventure.

[snort.] I don't cook, period. When I come down here it's usually just to grab a bagel or something.

[yeah he knows and he rolls his eyes a little bit bc of it, but just keeps going with the conversation.] It's weird, but I think that's one of the things I miss most about New York. Bagels anywhere else are pretty much a disgrace.

I've never had one. Maybe you can convince Wynn that importing bagels is a worthwhile expense.

Never had one? Oh, honey, you've gotta fix that. There's this one bagel place on Broadway, Absolute Bagels? I think I had a legitimate problem for awhile. And there's another place in Brooklyn, uh ... near Dyker Park, I think? I don't remember the name, but they're pretty legit. They have all these weird flavors, like purple blueberry bagels and shit. [when he gets worked up like this, it's pretty obvious to see that he ... misses new york.]
