Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[ mumble mumble lots of mumbled latin cussing. ] If it's my day shouldn't I get to run away from the camera?

[Myri places a hand lightly on Vi's back.]

C'mon, quit your bitchin' or get in the kitchen. [ that doesn't even make sense, kat. whatever. she snags someone nearby to take the picture (an anastacia someone) and goes to squeeze into the middle, throwing an arm around vi ] What should we say?

...I've never understood why people in movies always say that though.

[ gar, who i haven't even put on this post yet so i'll say here looks smashing with her 17 disguise in a long wine red dress smiles widely from beside elena. ] Cheese!

[ anastacia clicks a few pictures for them and shows them to kat to make sure she's satisfied, as gar remarks: ] I'm so glad that we can all still be here together.

gar doesn't hear her, because she's sort of staring across the floor, having glanced around at the mention of luthir and found most of the failboat boys chilling over by the punch table talking. it does not take a very high spot check (13+) to notice what's got her staring. her eyes are glued on jack, who, admittedly, is looking hella better than usual. kat frowns uncomfortably upon following gar's gaze, but her forehead furrows further as she looks over at fred who's there talking to mark. she almost visibly gulps, glancing down to fidget with the camera. and the crowd of guys parts for rafael who pushes through them to set down his finished drink with a grin, turning to say something to finnick. what it is, we just don't know. but he glances over and makes eye contact with the girls, his gaze lingering for a second on buffy as he talks. ]

[ buffy is so busy grinning stupidly at how fuckstruck gar is that she almost doesn't notice raf tbh. but she finally looks over to try and see if jack is similarly enamored and her eyes land on rafael gossiping with finnick (spot nat 20).

she leans in towards gar. ]

[Oh Myri crit failed. Guess she's too into this picture. Or her fiance. He's distracting.]

[Spot 19. Yeah, she notices. Everyone basically pairing off. That's cool.

[Anyone who was eying Archer's table a while ago might have seen him angrily storm out, but he's been MIA for a while now... But that's all about to change; he struts back into the hall, heading straight for the crowd of guys with some call-girl in tow, to prove he can totally get a date for some wedding.]

No, Luthir's hair looks better than mine. [ it doesn't tho, she got a nat 20 on those loose curls so fuck your magic elf hair. ] I don't need evidence of that for the rest of forever.
