Now officially Knighted, Vi exchanges her ceremonial armor for a wedding gown, and the guests head into London to gather at the Chelsea Physic Garden.  The evening is warm and clear, and the flowers in full bloom, chairs set up on the main lawn with name tags on them for people to find their seat.  Gentle Elvish music plays everyone in, and at the front of stands an arbor covered in wisteria.  It's a remarkably peaceful setting, enough to dispel further some of the grimness of the past few days and create an atmosphere of smiles and warmth.    It seems to reinforce what Luthir has been telling Vi all along: that maybe now more than ever, this is the sort of thing they need, in order to remember what they're all fighting for.

[Faye just laughs and shakes her head.] You're strange. But it's your wedding. [Said more like 'it's your funeral.']

Uh-huh, and I'm the one in this room getting laid on the daily. Are you, Faye Chamberlain? [ she knows the answer is no, ok. she knows. ] Don't scoff. I get cake and presents and so much, so much incredible sex.

No, I just stole him away from desk duty one lovely day and made him take me shopping. [ that's literally all it takes for her to make friends. ] I convinced him to go to the Pride parade with me by saying I'd hold his drink while he got blown so long as he holds my bag while the drag queens are telling me I'm pretty.

[Her dance steps falter a bit.] Okay, but seriously... Is he gay? [Despite the fact that the two characters she has asked this are played by the same person, THEY DO NOT KNOW YOU HAVE ASKED THIS TO BOTH OF THEM, FAYE. She sure doesn't seem to notice.]

[ she snorts, grinning as they dance around. you're so cute, faye. ] Does it matter? I would say equal opportunity, just like me. But if it's pretty I'll probably fuck it. Male, female, both, neither. He might have higher standards than that.

I'm just- I don't know. He asked me to be his date and then I see him making out with that guy [Vague gesturing towards Gus.] I'm not jealous. [Because making sure you add that sure makes that believable.] I just don't know what he wants.

Well, and this is just my expert opinion... you could just ask him, sweetheart. The boy does know how to talk. I've heard him use words. Crazy, right? [ she doesn't want to be like sluts gonna slut but.... sluts gonna slut. ]

[ she also has a feeling alex wouldn't bother. they had a very frank discussion, but them again, vi is a very frank sort of person. she makes frankness happen.

she leans in again for another brief kiss as the song ends before looping her arm through faye's to walk her off the dance floor and tradesies. ] And now you've kissed a girl. [ a beat. ] Or another, who knows. But you're even and the song is up, so now I get to steal your date. And maybe some details for you, okay?

Yeah, sure. Whatever. [She's just going to be grumpy in waves tonight. But there's always the chance that a ginger transplant from the 60s can make her forget about it.]

I wasn't listening. [he shoves his phone into his pocket and leads her out onto the floor, though. his dancing is ... okay??? (dance 12) bless.]

[ she's a scosh better (dance 18) but she's all a majestic adorable monster, so. ] Girl has got it bad for you, sweetie.

I didn't. [ and.... they're dancing.... at her wedding. she lifts her eyebrows, teasing smile on her lips. ]

I hope you mean your feelings for your brand new husband and not little ol' me.

Well, my feelings for you haven't changed either. You're still too attractive to be real. It's rude and you should stop. [ don't stop. all her friends are pretty, it's a trend. ]

Don't you dare. [ she can't help grinning like a dork. ] Are you still going to the pride parade with me even though I went and got married?

Of course. [ she scoffs like how dare you think otherwise. ] I mean, I'm gonna drink it while I'm waiting, but I will never stand in the way of you getting some.
