[She meant no actual eyes. Like on fish, sometimes. Or raw like sushi. She's no vegetarian, but grilled cheese works for her.]

That works. Are there any tomatoes?

Uh... [He goes back and hunts for them and come back victorious. Annnd he tosses her one. But his Dex was a nat 20 so it was a perfect toss.]

[Which she catches easily (dexterity 18). Apparently rolling well for throwing food is way more important than rolling well when playing shuffleboard. She grabs a knife out of the drawer and a plate to cut it on, before glancing back to him.]

You want some?

Nah. I prefer my greasy food to remain as greasy as possible. Butter and cheese for me, thanks.

[He gives her another quick smile as he grabs a pan and starts buttering some bread, awh yeah.]

[She laughs a bit at that, before nodding, slicing up just enough for her and passing the plate back over to him.]

I like mine with a bit of kick.

Well, if you want a kick, we should work more with these.

[He pulls out some jalapenos.]

Yay? Nay?

[She studies them for a moment, before shaking her head.]

I was thinking more sour than spicy.

Suit yourself. [He keeps the jalapeños out just because now he wants some.]

So how do you like it here?

[She nods a bit as she goes to put the tomato away.]

It's good. I mean, it's only been a couple weeks, but there're some nice people.

That's good. Who'd they end up squiring you to anyway?

[She shakes her head.]

Haven't gotten squired yet. Still kind of figuring that out?

[She shrugs. Wibbly wobbly timey wimey backtag shenanigans.]

It'll be good, probably, but I'm not sure that almost clawing the faces off the team that got sent to save you counts as a good first impression.

At least it was almost? Silver linings?

[She nods a bit in agreement.]

And everyone seems really great. It's ... definitely not what I was expecting.

What were you expecting? People to hate you?

Well, considering the thing that got me here was another organization like this trying to kill me? I'm not exactly betting on everyone being super friendly towards people like me.

[Not that she thinks the knights would have brought her here if there were, but at the same time this is a big organization.]

I wasn't really sure what to expect.

What about now? How do you feel about it?

[She takes a deep breath, before shrugging.]

Not a bad place to be. When it comes to people to wind up with, it could have been worse. And at least there seem to be people from home.

[She doesn't really know a lot of them yet, but at least they have the same life experience she does. Understands her kind of werewolf and such.]

Yeah, it's-- It's almost weird how many of us are here. [He's not complaining though. Except for Jackson. Always complaining about Jackson.]

I'd be bummed if you left- for what it's worth. [Even if he doesn't know her that well, even if she's got that weird Hale ability to never give a straight fucking answer, she's still one of the good guys.]

[From what Cora has seen of Jackson, she is not impressed. Granted, what she saw was ... lacrosse, so. It's not really much to go on. But that last bit is actually worth a lot, and gets a small smile out of her in response.]

[She doesn't think she's had a lot of people who would have missed her lately, even if a good part of the last six years are a little hazy.]
