[ It seems that Wynn was hoping for Sir Mark Sandazhard to reveal his true identity, and to lead the charge against Dimitris Sarandis' tyrannical hold over the island he was born to rule.   He was not disappointed, and Prince Marcus Andres stands poised to lead the group of Knights who he's worked beside for two years, to confront Sarandis, save their friend Kat, and search the castle dungeon for the captive Dragon's Claw, Sir Thomas Bancroft.    

Before they attempt to answer the castle, however, it's time to reunite the Prince with his childhood friends on the Isle, who had long held out hope that he was still alive, including his once-betrothed, Countess Lara Tamon.  Their first task will be to convince Lara to make a risky attempt to draw Kat out of the castle.  

The fate of their captured allies, and the future of Andres Isle, lie in their hands.  ]

I've gotta say, viability-wise, I think trident beats out broadsword.

Longer range, and they're actually pretty damn good at catching and breaking blades. [Archer knows a thing or two about weapons.] Just for the record.

Anyway, bright side: they're making your antique gun look useful. [Insert pointed glare at Des.] So hey, that's a thing.

[a beat.] His sword, not my gun. But if I wanted your opinion on my firearms, I'd have to get a lobotomy first.

I've watched Krieger perform a few, I could help you out with that.

[ Here's the white girl showing up 15 minutes late with Starbucks a great axe. Two-handed weapons are where it's at, y'all. ]

What are we arguing about already?

It's more of a warm-up exercise. Gets the blood pumping. [He snaps the cylinder on his revolver closed and turns to Myri.]

You ready, Little Bit?

I hope we all are. [ with one last look at it, mark slowly sheathes excalibur at his hip. ]

[Spike glances over at Myri, giving her an encouraging nod.] Let's hope this works.

[witchwoman]

[Oh, people are looking at her. Myri is adjusting her bag, checking that the healing flowers Vi gave her aren't getting crushed. Her hand shifts to her hip where her Excalibur is resting. It feels strange to be in full armor, prepared for battle to this degree for the first time in her entire life.

She looks to her teammates, knowing that most of them will worry about her, but she can't help that any more than they can help how she'll worry about them. So she just nods and tries to give a reassuring smile.]

[rationalizes]

[ gar comes in behind buffy, and stops when she sees mark with the sword, recognizing it instantly. the dull worry on her expression melts into a warm smile as she looks at him, obviously proud in spite of all they have to be anxious about. he catches her eye and gives her a little smile back, stepping over to squeeze her shoulder reassuringly. she glances at myri too, and then across the others. ] We'll need to contact Lara first. I don't suppose anyone has an idea on how best to do so without-- [ 'magic' was clearly going to be the next word, but she falters, remembering why they're short one mage, and looks down again. ]

[witchwoman]

There are spots that she considers safe. The bridge. The spot in the woods where she found us when Spike and I were rescued. We could leave a phone with instructions for her- or Michael or any of the others, really. I don't know how often they meet out there, though.

[It's sort of an idea, though.]

I... remember which manor house was hers. But we run the risk of dragging her parents into all this, and I'm not sure where they stand.

Do you remember where her room is?

[He shrugs.] Myri can just throw a few rocks at her window. If they hear her, she can blame it on squirrels.

I talked to her mother at the party. [/tells mark belatedly. BETTER LATE THAN NEVER???] I'm ... not sure how she would take any news. [he doesn't know how to tell mark about the engagement, either.......]

[witchwoman]

If you spoke to her mother, perhaps we could go to her house together, play it off like we're just stopping by to say hello? [That would require getting out of their fancy armor. Hmm...]

I think Des' plan may be better. [fuq getting out of armor basically.]

[bigbad]

Be a whole lot faster than hoping she shows up at one of the secret places. [Spike scratches his head looking up thoughtfully.] Might be worth checking the bridge, though. Odds are if she's not there, one of her friends might be, and they'd know how to get in touch.

[slay]

No, Myri’s right.

[ She looks to Myri with a smile like yooo good job. Nodding, she looks back to Spike. ]

We can try the bridge first, and send Finnick to the front door to deliver the message to meet us if she’s not around. That’s the best way not to arouse any suspicion.

[ Because what the fuck are neighbors going to think of a bunch of armored idiots throwing rocks at her window? ]

Except the bridge has the other knights all over it right now.

[(Wis 14) Apparently... he was sort of paying attention.] I doubt we'll find her there. Our best bet is to stay hidden and let Myri handle it.

You don't think Finnick's... reputation is gonna cause word to spread like wildfire that he's back?

[witchwoman]

[Myri watches the conversation dissolve like it tends to. Shaking her head, she holds up her hands.]

Just tell us what you need us to do. [She says to Mark, sort of ignoring everyone else- but for a reason! He has a good point about Finnick. And he's in charge this time around. This is one of the smallest decisions he might make. They have a few options for how to get Lara's attention. So Mark should make the call on how to do it.]

[slay]

[ And again with the good points, Myri. Remaining quiet, Buffy looks to Mark like yo you're gonna be the leader now so be the leader.

Except it's not remotely judgmental. In fact, she looks like she has all the faith in the world in his abilities to do this: to come up with a plan that will work for them. ]

Maybe we can rent one of those cloud-writing planes.

I've always wanted to fly one of those.
