[Spike comes up behind her, steps soundless like the creepy vampire he is (move silently 28) as he looks over her shoulder at the pictures she's taking.]

And here I thought you were done with our mission.

[Myri jumps at the sudden voice in her ear, and jerks away, turning to look back at Spike with wide eyes as she exclaims very uncharacteristically:] Jesus! [Too much time with Kat, apparently.] Spike, why would you sneak up like that?

[bigbad]

Vampire. It's just habit. [Or he's just an asshole. YOU DECIDE. But he's smirking, clearly all too amused at her reaction.]

[witchwoman]

A rude habit. [FROWNING at you, Spike.] What are you doing down here? Is Wynn sending you on another mission? [She gestures towards the archway that leads to the Round Table room.]

[bigbad]

[He shakes his head.] Last one's not finished, is it? No, just wanted to get a look at those paintings myself.

[witchwoman]

Des said he doesn't think there are any answers here.

[bigbad]

Des doesn't know everything. [Spike stares at the images for a moment, then shrugs.] But it'd take someone smarter than me to tease anything out. Just looks like art.

[witchwoman]

I don't think you give yourself enough credit, Spike.

[bigbad]

[He gives a half shrug. He thinks he gives himself just enough credit, but he doesn't really feel like arguing the point.]

Have you found anything?

[witchwoman]

Actually? I think I might have.

But I may need your help.

[bigbad]

Well, that much you're always welcome to. What did you find?

[witchwoman]

I think it'd be easier if I showed you.

[bigbad]

All right. [He gestures at the painting.] What am I looking at?

[witchwoman]

[ she shakes her head. ] Not here. Come with me? We'll have to go outside the castle.

[bigbad]

[He nods and gestures for her to lead the way. Hopefully it's not daytime but lbr he'd go anyway.]
