[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions: Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask! Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[ idly: ] I've gotten better at Japanese, haven't I? Still can't write for shit, but I can speak it at least.

Yeah, you do pretty good.

[ if nothing else in her life makes sense, she will always have the accomplishment of excelling at languages. at least she can do that right and she smiles a little, pulling a pen out of her pocket to doodle on a napkin. ]

[while they're waiting for the food, alex leans in to watch her doodle.] What're you drawing?

I dunno. [ a rose and a knife and a very preschool sailboat, a little cat. none of it is particularly masterful. ]

[ the cat isn't too bad, but she snorts a laugh because the rest are horrible. ]

Art school is never in my future. Unless it's visiting one on career day.

You could ... I dunno, make pinatas. Is that a thing?
