[ Castle repairs are still well underway, so there's that ever present remaining air of tension in the wake of the attack, but nevertheless it's the holiday season and people want to celebrate.  Any and all holiday season things can go here! ]

I killed time. Took the head off a giant robot. Breaks up the boredom.

The shield. [ He shrugs. ] I threw it. Took the head clean off. It's why half the building is being rebuilt. It sorta--landed on it. Not my intent though.

It wouldn't be a true Avengers day-saving if we didn't do some unintentional property damage in the process.

A few people almost got hurt because of it though.

[ Logan doesn't count. He made his own bed by getting stuck to the Colossus. ]

At least I could help pick up the pieces after.

[ Steve shrugs his shoulders and smiles. Because he's right. Even when they decimated New York the first time it was Steve busting his ass out there to help. ]

Mostly I was just moving huge chunks of rubble. I should have had a broom though.

What exactly are you trying to do?

I'm trying to get supplies for my suit without having to hit up Home Depot.

Have you tried asking for the supplies?

[ Because he's pretty sure someone could help him. ]

Asking is for children.

That's totally not even true. Taking is for children. Asking is for adults.

But asking for forgiveness is better than asking for permission, so I'm still going to be here doing my own thing.
