I've been sharing with Abbie. It's a little tight, but we're managing. It's only for a little while.

Well, if you ever need a night away, you are welcome to the bed. I'm still getting used to the comfort and prefer my couch some nights.

[he went to sit on his bed, and then reached behind the table to pull up a manilla envelope. It wasn't a lot, but he opened the envelope and pulled a thin scrapbook. He stood back up, moving towards her as he opened the cover]

This is an article from Cairo's library about the children being kidnapped for the militia. [he pointed at the picture, his finger pointing to a little five year old boy being dragged towards a truck by a man with an assault rifle]

That was the last time I saw my home until I was in my twenties.

[Her face softens as she goes to sit next to him, trying to get a better look at that picture.]

[She picks up he article and leans closer.]

Do you know who took the photo?

No. I went to the paper to ask but neither the photo taker or the writer was still there.

[She taps her fingers against her chin for a moment.]

But that doesn't mean we won't be able to find something. If I have some time, I'll try and dig in, see what I can find. What's the paper's name?

It is the Egyptian Gazette.

[yes, the paper's title is right there at the bottom of the page. It's actually the Egyptian Mail and it's in english.]

[Oh, yep, there it is. Whoops. She nods in acknowledgement, before reaching for her phone and taking a picture of the entirety of the page.]

I'll look into it. See what I can find.

[She takes out her phone and makes whatever notes she can to remember for later, when she's more sober than she is right now.]
