The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia. Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed: they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital. Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn. They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[ SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. Buffy's eyes get wide. But thankfully, the paramedics arrive, and Buffy looks up at the shouting just in time for Elena to drag her away. Stuttering, she assents to examining Lance's ankle and follows Elena's lead. ]

[ on edge now, dimitris affixes felicity with a hard stare, as if he doesn't trust any of y'all bitches now, but he doesn't resist as astrid starts checking his pulse, ordering decker in regards to buffy: ] Don't let her leave! Stop her!

[ kitty looks over to where several suited men are lurking, jerking her head after buffy ] You heard him. Stop her!

[ and then to astrid, distractedly: ] Not that we know of, no.

[ decker moves to comply, reaching out to try to pry elena off buffy (str 14) ] Move aside, kid.

[ ♬ run for your life - the fray

dumage has watched this nonsense unfold with more and more trepidation, and now she takes amanda by both shoulders off to the side behind her parents, saying: ] Listen to me. You need to leave. NOW. Get out of here.

And what? Go with you? [ her voice drops as she fixes dumage with a sudden sharp look, glancing back and forth between dimitris, buffy, and her ] Do you know something about this?

[ Shit. This is going FUBAR very quickly. He feels a little like he was dropped in the snake pit. His immediate response though is to follow Astrid's plan. Ask questions. Ask for history. So he moves towards Decker (because Astrid is speaking to Kitty) and reaches out to touch the man's arm. That's when you can hear fabric ripping and buttons pinging (nat 20 with 22). ] Sir, were you anywhere near the patient when he collapsed? [ Shit. ]

[And Felicity is just going to keep going because she is a medical professional and is also following Astrid's plan and instructions as given. Steve can handle any punching as needed, and she will keep Saradis' attention on her (diplomacy 23).]

[astrid just straight up ignores steve's wardrobe malfunction bc she is a medical doctor. (will save nat 20; 32 total) and moves on, pulling a little machine out of her kit.] I'm going to run an ECG, to monitor your heart.

Dude, I didn't say you could touch me.

[And she'll...shove Decker away from her (intimidate 37, attack 28).]

[ So maybe Des had a point. Which seems an odd thing to think at a time like this, but it's a rare moment when Buffy is the one lacking self control and Des is the one to be right in trying to curb her bad decisions. This probably would have been fine if she hadn't charged in. Elena took care of the real doctor, the paramedic team showed up right within seconds of the whole mess, and that means that the real fuck-up here is ... her.

Well, crap.

She's going to try to facilitate Elena cleaning up her mess by looking WHOLLY OUT OF HER ELEMENT as Decker and "Lance" escalate this to violence, holding her hands up like oH MY GOD why this. Which, to be fair, might not be her reaction to the violence, but feels pretty accurate to the rest. ]

[ decker, while oblivious to steve's abs, basically swats him away, because THIS LITTLE MODEL BITCH BOY IS SHOVING HIM WHAT THE FUCK. ] I don't have time for this shit, boy. Move. [ and he's gonna try to slam a fist right into his chest to knock him back ... but crit fails, tripping and falling past into the pew ]

Oh for fuck's sake. [ kitty moves to help decker get up, gesturing with more impatience towards the guards, who move in to surround buffy and lance - there are four of them and the one in front nods towards the back of the chapel.

"You're coming with us. Let's go." (intimidate 20) ]

[ dimitris looks mildly comforted by felicity's bedside manner over here, at least. ] A sudden intense pain. [ he gestures ] Here, several times. I think it's a damn heart attack.

[ meanwhile, to amanda: ] About what? His heart attack? [ she grips her wrist ] Things are getting mad here, and if you don't see that, you're a fool. This man has a lot of enemies. I don't care who you go with as long as you leave now.

[ valentin moves up beside them, keeping one eye on the scene of semi-violence ] I can get her somewhere safe. [ he looks at amanda for confirmation ] My people can see no harm comes to you until we hear word about Dimitris.

[ amanda looks up at him, surprised, and pushes some hair back out of her face ] Really?

[ Steve was really not expecting that guy to fail at punching Elena and then hit the ground like that. He looks down at him and then up. Huh. Awkward. He hustles past people and goes back out to the ambulance to retrieve the stretcher despite his ripped shirt. Time to get this show on the road. He returns finally with the stretcher. ] Let's get him loaded up. [ He says once he draws close to Astrid and Felicity again. ]

[Felicity flashes him a wide smile since she has his attention and nods in agreement keeping that calm soothing tone (diplomacy 25).]

Alright. We're going to take you to the local hospital and have you checked out. Make sure everything's going well, so we can get you right back to your big day. Sound good?

Yeah, this is just procedure. [while all of this has been happening, she's been putting small, sticky patches on his legs, arms, and chest. sorry about ur suit dimitris (haha no she's not). (treat injury 41; she obvs knows what she's doing.) as the machine starts to spit out some readings, she frowns.] Yeah ... okay, let's get you on the stretcher.

[Elena looks absolutely, positive offended.]

Seriously? What the hell did I do? This is some bullshit. She's trying to help and I'm an innocent bystander that some asshole ran into.

[But she did not nat 20 her will save so she's...going.

As long as they get Dimitris out of there, and it looks like they're doing it so far, then that's what matters. They'll figure this out.]

[ She whips her head around like wtf why is this happening everything is not fine but she realizes quickly that the best way to put everyone at ease is to ... remove what seems threatening and sketchy. So she holds her hands up and moves to follow the guards with the ready complaint, ] Going with you where?

[ dumage looks back at the others, then to amanda, her will crumbling in the face of the opportunity to get her sister out of here ] Fine, yes. Go with the nice King.

Tell them to call me when they know where they're taking him. [ then to valentin, as he starts to draw her towards the side doors ] You can find out where they're taking him, right?

Believe me, I can find out anything you need to know. [ with that, he motions to his ensemble, who follow them out the doors ]
