Castiel? [ the name is spoken with a bit of familiarity, actually ] Bugger stole my look.

[Jo smirks at the remark, not letting it actually sink in for a bit before she frowns in confusion.]

You know him?

[rituals]

Knew. You hadn't heard, then.

[huntersdaughter]

Heard? [Now she is definitely frowning. She knows that it's not her Castiel. That the world is different. That she's already died here - at least that's the impression she got from her talk with Dean.]

I haven't heard.

Sounds like you've got the Sight, at least. I imagine that means you've gotten a visit from Iscariot at some point? They do like to hunt our kind down and try to hire us on.

[huntersdaughter]

[Nothing he says is making any sense. She doesn't have the sight and she hasn't met Iscariot. The phrasing "our kind" lodges in her mind and she can't make sense of it.]

No, nothing like that has happened. Why would they hunt people?

Because they'd rather we were working for them, than against their lot. People who can see the Hidden World tend to have one side or another always jockeying for their loyalty.

[Jo lifts a brow as she smirks.]

High demand... I'm also not sure loyalties is a topic we should touch on so early in our -- [She pauses trying to sort out the right word.] -- stalker/stalkee-ship?

Well, I'm not a big fan on inviting members of certain clubs inside my flat. Not that I invited you in the first place.

[huntersdaughter]

I must have missed the [she gestures over her shoulder, to the doorway] "No girls allowed" sign outside. Unless you're talking about The Mickey Mouse Club, in which case, I gave up my ears at six.

I'm talking about the biggest clubs of them all. Allying with Heaven or Hell, as it were.

[huntersdaughter]

[Jo laughs.]

I didn't realize I get a choice in which club I end up at. I mean, I believe in both, but I didn't know I could just RSVP to one or the other by picking a team.

[rituals]

Right then. [ he smirks, although whether he's convinced is unclear ] So who are you?

[huntersdaughter]

Jo Harvelle. [She had given him her name earlier, but she figures that's not what he really means. It doesn't hurt to repeat herself, though.]

Curious party of one. Also, [She realizes now...] Pizza order abandoner.

[ it wasn't what he meant at all, but he doesn't seem eager to challenge her story either ] Pity about that. I was feeling a mite famished.

[huntersdaughter]

[She lifts her phone out of her back pocket glancing to the time. She frowns, because she's not sure she can walk into he same pizza place. Maybe when shifts change. She can't place another order, they'll call her on not picking up the first one.]

There's a diner up a block. [She's not shy about inviting him to come with. She barged into his place and pried about his objects. She probably owes him at the very least a cup of coffee.] If you can leave your unanswered call. [She gestures to the object.]

Not having much luck anyway. If he rings back, he'll just have to leave an inscription.

[huntersdaughter]

[She smirks, suddenly realizing that she has strange company for lunch on Valentine's Day. At the very least she has new information on someone who is familiar with arcane objects.]

Do you have enough room on there? I'd hate for him to call and get a "this object is full" message.

That's what he gets, I suppose. [ he's gonna get up and grab his coat, heading towards the door ] C'mon then.

[huntersdaughter]

[She takes another glance around his apartment and then follows him out.]

How do you feel about pub food? Never know when it comes to Yanks.

[huntersdaughter]

I'm not sure if should be offended or not, but I'm fine with pub food. [Mostly because she's pretty sure 80% of it has bread of some sort and where can you go wrong with adding bread to things?]

I'm more okay with pub beers, though.

Just don't expect me to buy.

[huntersdaughter]

[She laughs, shaking her head. She considers debating the merits of him paying for his own food, but she figures it won't really hurt to buy a guy some food and beers. She's done it for far less information.]
