[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding. 

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. [And there is a brief, but slightly fond look at her best friend because she knows how Abigail feels about these things but she appreciates Isaac's loyalty and will now lead them right to Gus.]

[ 'Nice' doesn't have anything to do with it as far as Isaac is concerned. There was a debt waiting to be repaid. Of course, he ended up biting off more than he could chew in the end but. For now at least he's managed to avoid choking. ]

[ eventually they happen upon the hunter and gus engaged in battle while toulouse is slumped against a tree and bleeding profusely, trying to stay out of the way of the fight.

gus looks... like he's seen better days, also bleeding, but between her fight with isaac and toulouse and now the onslaught from gus, the hunter isn't looking too hot either. it's definitely quite a scene to stumble on to.

a lightning bolt cracks from the sky, directly toward the hunter, but she darts out of the way just in time to escape being struck by it (ref save nat 20). gus curses, irritated that she's not dead and darts to the side to snatch up the quarterstaff she'd freaking kicked out of his grip. EVERYTHING SUCKS RN. ]

[ oh boy this doesn't look good. stepping away from isaac, abigail pulls the handaxes from her hips and just... hurls them at the woman trying to beat gus senseless. (atk nat 20, 28 total & atk nat 20, 23 total; dmg 18 & 21) #tinybadass

she runs forward, drawing her knives and swipes at her with one of them. (atk 27, crit on 17; dmg 18 + 1 bleed dmg for every round until she is healed)

the huntress levels her gun at abigail, but considering she was just literally axed, the shot goes wide (atk 14) and she slashes at gus' moving form with more success (atk 25, dmg 10), leaving a gash in his side. ]

[cramped]

[ 19 (29 total to hit) for crit on a lethal unarmed strike. Which means Isaac is able to take advantage of the huntress' preoccupation with Gus to hopefully land a solid hit (dmg 11) with his claws. ]

[impetere]

[Since everybody seems to be ready to go fight the huntress, Cora's going to go to the heavily injured werewolf by the tree. Her eyes flash briefly to show that she's friend not foe, before looking over his injuries and seeing that it's more than her potions will heal him.]

You need to shift. You'll heal.

[He huffs before shaking his head. "I won't be able to control it. There are too many humans."]

The humans will be fine. You won't. And if you go too far, I'll stop you. But all you really have to do is aim for her.

[He grits his teeth again for a moment before his eyes start to glow, his body shifting into the large hybrid wolf form (control shape 16). The minute the wolf's eyes land on the huntress, however, rage floods him (will save 11) and he pushes up to charge at her.

Cora turns and shouts after him.]

Everybody move!

[ sry gus is too busy being irritated to listen to you cora, and he swings his quarterstaff at the hunter, hitting her once (atk 27, dmg 10) and then snapping the other end up to smack her again (atk 22, dmg 8), before bringing the first end around again in a move that is probably really dramatic and awesome to smack her one last time (atk 24, dmg 7). ]

[ the hunter looks like she's on her last fucking legs, tbh, taking another point of bleed damage as abigail heeds cora's warning and backs the fuck up, holding her remaining action in case it's needed.

which is probably a bad idea because as the hunter reels back from gus's onslaught and drops the machete, she raises the gun again in both hands and fires once more at abigail (atk 15, dmg 4), the shot making abigail cry out in pain as the bullet skims her leg and blood blossoms against her jeans. the hunter's second shot is sent at snarling toulouse coming at her. (atk 28, dmg 8) she's going to fight until the god damned last. ]

[cramped]

[ The huntress looks pretty #wrecked but she has yet to go down. Isaac is torn between getting out of the way of Toulouse and trying to get one last hit in.

And because he is a reckless sort, he'll attempt to do both (atk 27, dmg9, reflex 18). ]

[impetere]

[And because they're lesbians BFFs, Cora's going to make a run for her best friend to shield her from oncoming werewolf who is definitely not going to stop. As the huntress drops into unconsciousness the wolf is just going to barrel right past Isaac and Gus and ... tear into her unconscious body so that she doesn't get back up (attack 20 total, damage 10, attack 20 total, damage 8).]

[ she was dead the first attack, like hot damn, you need some aggression to get out son? go for it. gus is gonna back the fuck up and regroup with his baby child and her girlfriend and the new kid, reaching out to clasp isaac's shoulder. a surge of strangely cool soothing energy floods through him as gus casts cure critical wounds for +37 hp, wounds stitching themselves back together, burns from the bullets and silver soothed by the positive energy. nature rules tbh. ]

Someone's gonna need some wolfnip...

[ abigail clings to her best friend, letting cora hover in front of her while the werewolf goes to town on the fallen woman, turning her head into cora's hair so she can focus on the smell of her shampoo and not watch the genuine slaughter happening. ]

[cramped]

[ Isaac isn't sure what Gus did to him exactly but he knows that he feels way better as a result. Not perfect but pretty close to it.

As for the huntress, she's obviously dead so there's technically no harm to allowing Toulouse to continue to ravage her bloodied and broken body. But it makes even Isaac feel a bit uneasy, especially since he knows the man inside the monster so to speak. And that man probably wouldn't approve of utter evisceration. ]

Shit.

[Yeah, Cora isn't sure either and she'll keep between Abigail and Tolouse, holding her action until she sees what the other wolf does.

And once the wolf is one hundred percent positive that the huntress is down he turns on the others around him, and his vision seems a little clearer, but he can't shift himself back into human form just yet (will save 16, control shape 14). Instead he just snarls at the rest of them tense and waiting for the next blow.]

Everyone just ... give him some space. Don't make any sudden moves.

[ space gus can do, grip tightening slightly on isaac's shoulder like he's willing him to not try to play hero as he casts antilife shell around them, murmuring under his breath in korean. he tries to look non-threatening which is up in the air really, because he's a 6'2 man holding a bloodied quarterstaff who can summon fucking lightning for funsies so idk. at least toulouse can't get to them. haha sucka. ]

[ abigail meanwhile looks super non-threatening, if you missed her ax throwing display... but she edges around cora, swallowing as she lets her knives drop into the grass. a hiss from gus makes her stop before she steps out of the field, but she holds her hands up in the universe gesture of innocence. it helps that out of all of them, abigail just looks delicate, a genuine fragility to her glaring humanity. ]

Hey, it's alright, she's dead. No one is going to hurt you. This guy can actually heal you if you want or I can try to patch you up. [ the uncertainty is not an act, she can't do that much so he is clearly going to need gus' help, not her's. ] But you need to shift back before you hurt yourself even more.

[ wtf another nat 20. jfc. so abigail is super endearing and everyone should listen to her is what i'm getting from this and her diplomacy check of 30 total. god damn, child. ]

[cramped]

[ Isaac just waits and holds his action from inside the antilife shell although Gus can probably tell just how incredibly tense he is in the moment, particularly once Abigail steps outside the safety net and chooses to engage with Toulouse directly. ]

[impetere]

[Cora also holds her action, and it takes Tolouse a moment, but eventually he starts to shrink in size, the fur pulling back into his body and bones shifting as he turns back into a human, very naked person again (control shape 20). He's still trying to catch his breath and he drops to his knees a bit.

"Sorry about that," he says softly, before his eyes dart to Isaac. "You alright?"]

No problem. [ but abigail is gonna avert her eyes, looking... literally anywhere else. why is it always naked wolves. was alcide not enough? ]

[cramped]

I'm fine now. [ Thanks to the timely intervention of Cora and her friends. ]

It's alright, you can trust these guys. [ Isaac gestures with his thumb in the direction of the others (diplomacy 17). ]

[impetere]

[And Tolouse trusts Isaac, so he'll just nod before glancing down with a sigh. "Any chance you have extra pants?"

Cora smirks before something comes to her and she quickly pulls up her phone to snap a picture of Isaac. Then she'll send it off to Scott with the message: He in your pack?

Just to be sure.]

We should probably get out of here before someone stumbles over the body too.

[druidisms]

I've got that. [ gus squeezes cora's arm in warning, gently turning her away before he waves his hand and the body erupts into flames. ] No extra pants.

[ he does not mind a naked man around, tbh. ]

[cramped]

Where are we going?

[ Isaac pipes up, curious. Although it's not like he has anywhere better to be. Sticking with Cora is probably his best option. ]

[impetere]

Tolouse should probably head back to his place.

[So he can get some pants and the older werewolf seems to agree. And she waits until she gets the confirmation from Scott that yes, Isaac is part of the Beacon Hills pack, before she finishes.]

But if you're coming back with us, we're going to London.
