[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

I do too! You don't look famous. Unless you're Bill Cosby's supplier, but I don't think Wynn is going to let someone like that roam around the castle full of teenage girls.

Have you heard about Nicholas St. Andrew?

But my... wife is on impending trial, as his potential accomplice.

Oh. [ WOW. ] Didn't he murder people?

Among his many other stirring extracurriculars, yes.

[ caroline really wants to ask why she isn't his ex-wife, but miraculously refrains? for now. hmm, what would her guidance counselor say about this? ]

So your life kind of revolves around her right now, huh? That's not really fair.

I don't particularly think she was concerned with questions of 'fair' when she got involved in all this.

So how come it's keeping you up at night?

Because I don't possess her requisite capacity for heartlessness.

You don't have to be heartless to draw a line somewhere. This isn't the Good Wife, you don't have to stick around. And if she's not going to care about you, then you have to. [ which i'm sure is super advice from a teenager, definitely what granted wanted to go with his coffee. ]

I'm sticking around, as you put it, because this remains my job.

Wynn's making you stay married to her? [ HORRIFIED. that's fucked up. ]

No. I mean, here, as in with the Knights.

[ he's caught up now ] Are you asking me why I haven't divorced my wife? [ PERSONAL MUCH ]
