[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.  This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.

It probably is. Being the leader isn't easy. I certainly don't envy him.

And because the inner circle is good at keeping him on track.

Pretty much. Though he does have some family, somewhere. Some of them have come through the knighthood.

I don't know if he had kids? But blood relatives, at least.

I wonder what happened to them. You think that's why he's all ... Batman? You know, staring broodily into the distance, wreaking vengeance on the unjust.

Probably. But he's never really been a man for useless words. One of the things I appreciate about him.

I don't know. I've always found useless words comforting.

They can be. But in a leader, I think I'd rather be sure that they're listening. And while yeah, brooding silence doesn't always equate listening skills, with him, it's ... different, I guess.

Yeah. [ Skye nods. ] I get what you mean.

[She nods again before holding up her file.]

Anyway. Found what I'm looking for. How do you feel about grabbing a pizza?

[Because everything is made better with food, in her opinion.]

Pretty good about it.

[ Skye swans her way over to join Malina and follow her out. Tbh she's still grateful Malina doesn't hate her, which was what she assumed would happen on first impressions. /thread? ]
