[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Well, I was in space. We have our ways. Recharging some low-tech batteries wasn't a big deal if you knew the right people.

I don't even like going as far back as DOS. I can't imagine having that level of backwards compatibility.

Well, luckily you don't have to.

Either way, the point is, I guess there's some... nostalgia value.

Alright. [ she nods, getting it. ] Well, no hard feelings between me and your cassette tape, but let me know if you want me to hook you up with the '80s station on Pandora. You could probably manage to customize it to roughly those few years, even, with enough upvotes and downvotes.

As much as I wanted to see Earth again, I wasn't planning on it being so... permanent.

None yet. There's some parts I can't exactly make from scratch.

But someone else here could, right? As long as we have the elements ...

If they knew a thing or five about spaceship engineering, I suppose.

You do know that sentence is probably way less weird to ask here than anywhere else, right? I mean, one crash-landed in the backyard before Christmas.
