The acting Heads of the Knighthood - Hasmed and Solace - have made a decision that is not easy for many. Given the terrible state of everything happening in America, they've decided to relocate operations entirely to the States, and have secured a facility vaguely near Las Vegas: agreeing to work alongside the S.H.I.E.L.D. organization to find a way to take down Blade. It is certainly possible, with the grim missions that lie before them, that many, or all, of the Knights may never return. Reactions to the announcement are certain to be strong, but it's time to choose what they will bring with them to their new life - and for some, to decide if it's a journey they can bring themselves to take.
Most of the facility is underground, and the Knights are each granted badges that will act as keycards to get them into the barracks area that has been sequestered for them in its own building (called the Enclave), as well as to access the other rooms that are open to their use. It is more or less similar to this, but scaled up in size to account for the larger numbers of people housed on base. There are separate buildings on the base compound for the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (The Sanctuary) and for those members of Hellsing (The Bulwark) who have relocated as well. The entire compound itself is referred to collectively as "The Harbor". Peter Fargason will continue to run training drills daily, attempting to mold the Knights into a more efficient combat unit, and Hasmed, Solace, Koraith, Dovan, and Lis'sa will continue to assign missions to members of the Knighthood, ostensibly aimed towards slowing the tide of monsters and evil doers heading to Los Angeles and protecting Shadowkind in America from the "war on Shadowkind" being waged by the American government, as non-humans are being rounded up as potential threats to the country. Hasmed and Solace have assumed joint leadership of the Knighthood, and appointed no Dragon's Claw to replace either the deceased Sir Bancroft or the now gone rogue Sir Chessing.
Gone is the eclectic decor of the castle rooms, replaced by a much more uniform look to each assigned barracks, which, unfortunately, sleep two to a room because of restraints on space. Feel free to sign up for a roommate on the thread on this post. In fact, everything here is much more polished, state of the art, and modern, which is a jarring change from the castle. How well people adjust may depend on quite a few factors... but for now, they are free to attempt settling in.

Melody's sketching just down the hall, she doesn't talk much, but she's taken to her artwork. I figure when we get back to London or when things are less crazy I'll take her to Sweets or something, I don't know.

Mmmm. Never had much time for therapists myself.
[ She doesn't need some stiff with a degree to tell her that she's entitled to her feelings and help her move on. That's what booze is for. ]
Can't be much fun... stuck in a bunker without any other kids around. [ And Vegas isn't exactly the most child-friendly of places, either. ]

[ Okay so she's a little dry about that. She likes Natasha at least but that doesn't mean Kenzi doesn't miss her privacy, but she's had a lot worse. ]

It's not, she's not happy but she's safe so she can hate me later. I'm sure she will anyway, but I'm doing the best I can.

She's quiet for a long moment, considering Mars and the situation he's in. All the while offering Venus a respectable amount of attention - enough to engage her but not so much that she's likely to get overstimulated and try to nom on her fingers. ]
Then... we find a way to make it suck less. [ As if it could be that simple. As if just wanting to do it could fix everything. ] And she's not gonna hate you, Mars. Not really. You're here with her. Even when she doesn't show it? That counts.
[ She legit looks surprised by that and is quick to shake her head. ]

[ I mean. She had sex with Peter Quill. She doubts you want to hear about that. She's worried about Bo who is missing her son. Worried about Paige who is on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Missing Hawley and trying not to feel like he's another person to leave her, along with Katniss who is. Suddenly missing.
None of this is stuff she feels is wrong with her. ]
The whole, I went to Vegas and all I got was this stupid non-tan because I'm living in a Bunker, blows. But I can't complain otherwise.

[ Her tone is playful but he'd see that flicker of emotion in her eyes, the fact that it truly means something to her to gear those words pass his lips even if she does try to play it off with humor. ]

I'd say you should make Hasmed or Solace do it... but I wouldn't wish that on Mel. [ She's joking. Probably. ] Even if you don't come out with me. You do need to have some time for you, for Mel's sake as well as your own. Hell. I'll babysit if it'll get you to take a break.
[ I'm sure this is a great idea. Kenzi will either babysit Mel with Peter, with Tony Stark or both... what could possibly go wrong?! ]

[ He explained his point of very with that tired almost pleasant air he usually fakes for other people, but he seemed more genuine at the moment. It was easier to be himself when he was around her. He didn't have to worry about his darkness leaking out. ]

[ With Wynn gone everything seems to move slower, which means hes sad about the bad ass leader being gone but what can one do? ]
I spoke to them when I promised she wouldn't be in the way. I'm pretty sure if I wasn't half as powerful as I am, I'd still be at the castle.
