The first twenty-four hours of searching yielded no results, in the hunt for Elena and the escaped doppelganger Kyp.  Most consider it not worth keeping up the search when both of them are capable of vanishing into literally any crowd, but Wynn isn't so quick to give up.  To that end, he's hired monster hunter Dean Winchester to work with a special team in trying to track them down.  A few other Knights familiar with Elena are invited along to the mini briefing, where Wynn and Dean already wait.

[Helen glances down at the gun that just came from Archer's pants. She looks utterly disgusted.]

There isn't a chance you can drive any faster, is there? [She asks Dean, sounding tense.]

[ What. Did you just. There is a disgusting, sweaty derringer in his hand. He holds his hand back out. Archer you better take it back. ]

[ Dean rolls his eyes and just... addresses rose. The rest of y'all are dead to him. ] So long as they think we're authorities, they'll cooperate. Look in the glove box. [ when she does, she'll find a treasure trove of fake ids. Too bad they're all...from America. (Yeah he rolled a 2 on that wisdom check. At least he's remembering to drive on the other side of the road ok ]

Not sure how far we'll get posing as the... Department of Fish and Wildlife. [And another.] FBI? [She throws a look back at Helen because Rose's Wisdom check was 17.] Think you can pull off concerned parent?

[And Archer flips out his ISIS Badge which actually still looks like a cartoon. He hasn't seemed to have noticed the difference yet.]

[Helen is straight up ignoring Archer at this point.]

Certainly. [She says to Rose.] And set the scene with Elena as my runaway daughter, perhaps?

She fell in with a bad crowd. [ He can follow that logic. And then he sees the ISIS badge and he's just, he doesn't know what to do with that. Ignoring it is his best bet, right? ]

Then we run the risk that they sympathize with rebellious teenagers and will cover for her. I'm telling you. Authorities is the best angle.

What authorities run in packs. We're not exactly dressed like we're packing heat. [ Or anything else for that matter. Maybe Archer is. He's not over the crotch gun. ]

If he's sympathetic and room isn't occupied, he might give you the key. [ And again, he could just bypass it all and dominate the poor bastard. ]

His petulant fine makes it unnecessary though, the Dhampir stiffening as they pull into the parking lot.]

Upside, if worried Mom fails we can always bribe them into spilling the details. [Undoing her seatbelt and scanning the parking lot for the car they would have arrived in. (Spot 24.)]

[Heading into the front desk area of the motel, Helen doesn't really need to fake her concern. She does care about Elena.]

[ the guy at the desk looks up from his magazine, chewing on some beef jerky.
