[ Two groups stow away on a barge bringing imports onto Andres, aided with invisibility and silence spells.  The members of both groups sneak away from the docks, to congregate between warehouse buildings.  Dean checks his weapon in the dim light, glancing down towards the mouth of the narrow alley, and then glancing back at the other group. ]

Castle can't be more than a half mile.   Odds are that's where Elena's headed too - that or the prison in the woods.  Depends on what they're here for.

[before alainn gathers them into a buddy huddle, will replies to felicity — ] I think Elena is hoping to give Kyp a chance to redeem himself, save him from execution. But there's no way to be sure if that's what Kyp wants for himself. He could just be stringing her along for the free ride.

[and now they're gathering. ew being close to other people. will's least favorite thing.]

[Felicity can accept that. She knew from Vi that Elena wasn't bad, but Kyp was the wild card. Will confirming that for her was good.]

So Elena, yay. Kyp, question mark. I can deal with that.

[But she'll move in close for the silence spell too, having less of a problem with close quarters than Will.]

That's how we're treating it until we have reason to believe otherwise.

I think Kyp's given us plenty of evidence about exactly what kind of monster he is. Not sure where the question lies in all that.

[Alainn looks at dean like where did you come from again?? but so long as they can all get along well enough to stay within ten feet of each other and get to the castle, she doesn't really care how cray cray he goes on kyp's doppelganger ass. elena is a different story.]

Right... well let's deal with the two of them when we find them. In the meantime, lets get a move on, shall we?

[ ... Felicity just kind of side eyes Dean too because seriously, have you met the Knights? They take all types. But whatever, she's all for getting a move on.]

They've uploaded maps to the Drakenet. Our position should be locked in.

[Rose remains silent on the Doppelgangar discussion front but she does exchange a look with Dean. Three months on the road hunting down Kyp and Elena and he knew exactly what her thoughts were in relation to those two.]

So this spell only works as long as we're all together? [She pauses, then looks to Alainn.] At some point we're going to need to split up.

[Alainn brings the map up on the Drakenet to be sure of their position, confirming the direction they needed to head. She nods at Rose's words, putting her phone away in a zippered pocket, then looking to Rose as she responds.] Oh aye, but I can at least get us to the castle unseen. and I have a spell to get us into the castle, past the cameras they have there.

And if he's got the place warded against witchcraft? I thought this guy hated Shadowkind.

[in the driest tone imaginable] Then I guess we'll just have to watch our step.

[again, with all the side-eyeing.] Even if he does have the castle warded, I can take care of that.

That's all we need to know. [Rose in business mode. It happens. Rarely, but it happens.] Don't suppose you have any other spells that might help us sneak around?

Most of the spells I've memorized for tonight are meant for when we're inside the castle itself. We're just going to have to be as quiet as possible. [basically not wanting to use up all of her spell slots just getting to the castle.]

[Yes, let's rely on some natural stealth, people.]

Shouldn't be too hard. Stick to the shadows and keep quiet. Once we get in the castle we can break out the heavy artillery.

[ ... says the cat burglar. her opinion may be biased.]

Oh I was thinking for when we split up. We kill stuff [Her and Dean.] and he - [Gesturing to Will.] Profiles. [A beat.] Just, seeing what we'll have to work with once we get in there.

I've killed things, too, you know. [JUST PUTTING IT FUCKING OUT THERE.]

[Will, sweetie, Felicity would pat you on the shoulder, but she gets the sense that you're not too big on touching (sense motive 20 total). So she's just going to rub her chin a bit and let that comment slide.

Okay, then. Let's get this show on the road is written all over her face.]

Good, cause when it comes down to it, I need to know you can pull the trigger. [All very matter of fact. Doesn't everyone talk about killing like it's nbd?!

Mostly Will, I need you to read people, let us know if anyone is behaving in a way that doesn't fit. A guard that isn't watching exits, something like that. We have no idea what Kyp and Elena will look like so that will help us narrow things down.

When we do find Elena, Will, you get her in cuffs and you get her back to one of the boats. She's not to be harmed but she's not to be trusted either.

[She pauses a moment, as if daring anyone to challenge that statement.]

As for Kyp? There is no question mark. Will's priority is getting Elena out of there, mine is taking care of Kyp. Depending on how things go down, Dean you'll either be with me or helping Will get Elena back to the boats.

[And with an exhale, that's the end of Rose's TLDR planning for their group.]

Til we split up, the three of us will fall in with the rest of you. We'll try and make the most of the magical cover while we can. That work for you?

[he momentarily considers telling rose that he's randomly read people's minds … twice … but it's such a useless crapshoot thing who knows if it would actually come in handy tonight.]

I can do my part, but … How do you think Elena will react to you "taking care of" Kyp? [like she is not gonna be like "cool y'all can blow my criminal boyfriend's brains out, i'll just wait on the boat"??????]

You'd risk her turning on us or running away again just so you can get your chance for revenge? I don't think she's been on the run all this time waiting for you to rescue her.
