[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of the first half of the month. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.

Also, following the promotion and squiring parties at the beginning of the month, Wynn will be taking any willing Knights back to Andres Isle to further reconstruction efforts there.   There's plenty to be done - and an election to gear up for, to find out who will rule Andres Isle!

[ his text led to a comical panic in which she rushed to will for help because what even?? but after will helped her pick a dress (read: asked alice to help abigail find a dress), she calms some and shoves it into a bag for the next day.

when she meets him out front she has the tote slung over her shoulder. she's in her own usual clothes, cardigan and jeans, something nature themed. she's pretty set in her ways. her hair, however, is in soft, gentle waves instead of the usual pin straight she normally favors. ]

Hi. [ she smiles, a little shy, a tucks her hair behind her ear. gosh, he's so cute and he seems so... settled now that he's been knighted, more confident. she hates andres, but even abigail can admit it had been good for stiles. ] Do I even get a hint about what we're doing today?

[killingtodeath]

Yep. [He reaches into the open window of the car and pulls out a bright pink double perennial to hand her. That's it. That's your hint. Oh and also the fact that when he opens the car door for her, there's a fuck ton more of those in different colors.]

[lurings]

That's not a hint, that's -- [ she trails off when she sees the rest of the flowers, mouth falling open in surprise. ] Did you mug that woman that hangs out in the garden?

[killingtodeath]

We just don't know.

[Grinning like an idiot.]

Get in.

[lurings]

[ he totally did, didn't he? abigail isn't going to think otherwise until he corrects her. and she doesn't think he's going to correct her. she climbs in the passenger seat, buckling up and shoving her back at her feet. she's very careful not to damage the flower stiles presented her with.

once she is situated, she shifts to face him, tugging one of her legs up on to the seat. ] Do I get another hint?

Hmm... [he seems to mull that over while he gets his seat belt on and starts the car.]

Batman. [He's the worst with hints. Also he got a 15 on his drive check so no car accidents today weeeee.]

[lurings]

That's not a hint, that's a masked vigilante. [ a beat, smile breaking across her cheerfully exasperated features. ] I'm not calling you Batman, either.

I'll let you be my Robin. [He gives her a quick smile before putting his attention back on the road.]

No more hints though. I want it to be a surprise.

[lurings]

[ her cheeks flush with contentment, slowly relaxing into the seat. she still feels awkward and out of place, but it's just the pair of them and no one around to make her feel...

less.

so she allows herself to relax and enjoy the ride, fingers smoothing over the glossy pink petals. the conversation is easy banter, she tells stiles about will's new dog and more about the hide and freelance parties. (w e i r d o s.) they bicker about british english versus american english. abigail teaches him the anatomy of a flower while they're at one particularly long traffic light.

and then finally they're pulling into london proper and abigail peers out the window, squinting against the dull afternoon sun, to orient herself. ]

Are we going to meet the Queen?

You know, our schedules just didn't mesh this time. [he tosses back easily as he pulls into a parking spot and turns the car off.]

Alright, so date part one- You and I are going to hand out these flowers. All of them. To whoever we decide looks like they need a pick me up. Date part two is in my bag but I'll tell you about that when we get there. And date part three involves that dress I told you to bring, but that's even later on. Got it?

[No stiles that was not very helpful.]

[lurings]

[ she stares a little. ]

How many parts does this date have?

[killingtodeath]

Just three! So far. I mean if you want to jump in with any, let me know.

[Definition of an eager beaver.]

[lurings]

[ she unbuckles and slides out of the car before she turns, standing on her tiptoes on the edge of the door so she fold her arms against the roof and look at him. ]

I would have been happy with fish and chips. [ like this is loads of effort and she would have been pleased as punch with watching a hockey game on the big screen in the movie theater. (which is her favorite thing to do.) maybe popcorn. she just wants it on the record that he went above and beyond.

but as far as first dates go (literally first as abigail doesn't remember dating), this is setting the bar incredibly high. ]

[He can't help the smirk of a smile that forms because... well fish and chips are coming later too.

Maybe he's kind of screwed himself but he wants to do something...big. Because he doubts she thinks she deserves it. And she totally does.]

I know. Trust me- you'll like this. C'mon. [He grabs an armful of the flowers and kicks the doors closed, biting the key fob in his mouth to lock it.]

[lurings]

Okay. [ she draws the word out, but hops down and shuts the door, circling the car to take some of the flowers from him. ] How do we know who looks like they need a flower?

[killingtodeath]

[Just then, a small child all but drags her mother over towards the pair of them.]

Frower! [The young girl exclaims. Stiles just laughs.]

Well, that's one way.

[lurings]

[ abigail crouches down when the little girl approaches and holds out a flower which, sorry stiles, is the same bright pink one she was already holding. ]

Hi there. Would you like to ask your mom if you can have a flower?

[ PARENTAL CONSENT IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!! ]

[Stiles doesn't seem at all bothered. In fact, he's grinning as he sees Abigail interact with the mother and daughter duo. The little girl looks up at her mother and bounces on the balls of her feet.]

Can I???? [Her mother just smiles and nods to Abigail, giving the go ahead.]

[lurings]

Enjoy it.

[ she passes over the flower before straightening up and stepping back toward stiles, a little smile creeping across her face at the little girl's delight. ]

[The girl lets out a giggle of delight and takes her flower. After a reminder from her mother, she also says thank you and the pair walk off. Stiles grins at Abigail.]

See? You're a natural.

[lurings]

You're dumb. [ she gives him a light shove, rolling her eyes in good nature and smiling wider. ]

You say the sweetest things. [He bats his eyes at her before turning towards the street.]

Okay, so who is our next target?

[lurings]

I don't know, it's your plan. You pick.

[With an exaggerated sigh, Stiles looks around and notices a little cafe sort of place down the way.]

How about down there? [He asks as he just... starts walking. Whoops.]

[lurings]

[ she snickers, following after him. ]

You have to give away the next flower.
