Sure. Yeah, of course you wouldn't want to do that.

I worry about it, sometimes. [He says after a few beats of silence.] About what happens if I lose control. I could hurt people if I'm not careful. Fighting a big metal dragon is one thing, but... it's not always going to be that simple.

... Sorry, I just need a minute to process that you just implied that fighting a metal dragon is simple.

Simple in that you pretty much just hit it until it stops moving. And killing it was the goal. That's not... always going to be the case, I'm guessing.

[hacker]

Not generally speaking, no. [ She sounds uncomfortable with the potential, even. ]

And if someone like me isn't careful? [He shakes his head.] The dragon was simple. It's the rest of it that I'm worried about.

Clark, I know you. Powers or no powers, you're not gonna hurt anyone or ... or go too far.

I wish I could be so sure. Unfortunately, there's no real manual when it comes to my powers or how they might grow or change. It's all trial and error. I just don't want any of those errors happening when innocent people are around.

Yeah, but they're a part of you. And I don't believe there's a single part of you that could do something like that.

You've got a lot of faith in me. [He's not entirely sure he deserves that.]

Yeah. [ She slaps his arm lightly. ] Don't get too stuck in your own head. [ and with that, she bounces off to do more as well. ]
