The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[astrid isn't a ninja, but she's not clomping around, either. (move silently 21) she is also keeping her eyes open for stuff and things. (spot 21)]

[ kat's really the clomper of this bunch lbr, and with a move silently 16, she's definitely the loudest of them all. they make their way towards the lowered barrier, and one by one duck underneath it or squeeze beside it. astrid keeps an eye on the guard, and as kat approaches, she lowers her phone for a moment, glancing up as if she heard something--

but kat freezes, noticing the movement, and after another second, the guard frowns and goes back to her candy crush.

the parking garage stretches out before them - it's only two stories, and the entire ground floor is full of ambulances. astrid notices that there are more cameras here and there down the length of ambulance row, and about halfway up to the right, there's a pair of double doors that lead into the hospital proper. there are a few people heading out towards ambulances right now, and the back of the vehicle right across from the doors is open, two paramedics re-upping supplies inside. ]

[des notes the open ambulance and taps Kat on the shoulder, gesturing to fingers towards it. that one's probably their best bet.]

[Felicity follows Des' gesture and nods - it could be, they just have to get the current paramedics claiming it away from it. She turns towards the double doors, before pointing and mouthing "uniforms?"]

[ kat nods at them both, gesturing to felicity and astrid to head inside to get those. her and des can handle these clowns, surely. ]

[des looks pretty confident about that plan, anyway. Let's be... Morally ambiguous heroes (unsure)]

[with kat's go-ahead, astrid starts heading towards the double doors, still being quiet and cautious. ]

[Felicity is not that far behind her, also being quiet and cautious and keeping an eye out for where they need to go.]

[ kat and des are going to have to follow them close to the doors so that they don't pop out of the invisibility bubble while they're still outside, and when they all get close, the doors open in response to them since they're not invisible to ... sensors. there are a couple people coming down the white interior hall towards them, however, and one of the paramedics at the ambulance glances over at the doors that just seemed to open for no reason and frowns. ]

des follows kat, easing her closer to the wall with a gesture so they can avoid any traffic or risk the paramedics seeing them if the doors should open again. huggin' the wall like a bad spy movie whee.]

[Felicity spots the people coming down the hallway and dodges to the side. She's hoping that they're close enough to make coming through the doors seem normal, but probably not. Either way, can't just appear out of nowhere, so she's going to hop to the shadows on the opposite side of Des and Kat and hope she's not too far out of the spell's range, and if she is, she's out of sight (hide 26).]

[astrid just follows suit with felicity, because that seems like the legit thing to do. however, she is ... slightly less stealthy than felicity ... (hide 21)]

[ in what is a very fortuitous timed series of events, the paramedics walk out the door, and felicity and astrid press themselves against the wall and then... duck inside behind them, out of range of the invisibility spell, becoming visible just as the doors close. the two paramedics who just came out start heading deeper into the garage, and kat looks at des like well?

astrid and felicity are in a hospital hallway, with several corridors branching off here and there. ]

[with the girls doing their sneaking and the fact that they'll be able to get clear once they steal their uniforms and before that, they're not gonna be much use to them, he glances towards the automatic door and then nods that way, taking Kat by the shoulder and gesturing at the doors leading back to the garage in the hopes that they might be triggered to open again, before pulling back to the wall.

He shrugs, hoping she... gets what his ridiculous little charades act was supposed to mean.

C'mon, Kat. Tell him you don't want to annoy a bunch of paramedics with a haunted automatic door. No one is gonna immediately assume invisible people are doing it. they're gonna assume it's broken and probably tell a supervisor.]

[ she gets it, and leans forward to wave her hand in front of it again every time it starts to close so that it's basically just opening and closing nonstop...

however neither of the paramedics even seem to notice?? ???? ]

[GODDAMMIT. THEY ARE WORSE AT SPOT CHECKS THAN DES IS.

Des frowns and nods towards the door as he begins to dig in his pockets to produce a small pile of change, urging Kat to follow him, so ideally they can be standing in the garage again, but... off to the side of the door, so it can shut back. HE'S PRETTY CONFIDENT IN THIS ONE OKAY. JUST FOLLOW HIS LEAD, KAT.

Grabbing a quarter he winds up and hurls it at one of the light fixtures. (ranged atk 27) even if he doesn't actually hit the freakin' thing, he figures, it'll... produce a sound. Maybe.]

their listen checks weren't really much better. amazing.

kat looks impressed for five seconds, but purses her lips together and gives him a look like COME ON DESCANT when it fails to get their attention. she curls up one hand in a fist and pummels it into her other palm, like WHY DONT WE JUST KNOCK THEM OUT??? ]

[BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO JUMP IMMEDIATELY TO VIOLENCE, OKAY, but since haunted garage was his best plan while invisible, he just... slowly nods and mimics her gesture.

she holds him back a minute with a hand on his chest, lifting her other hand and crooking a finger in the direction of the camera sweeping this area. he would notice the cord on the back of the camera get pulled out, and then she lets him go, nodding at the guy who's in the actual back of the ambulance and a little harder to get to, indicating des should sneak up on him and she'll take the one around the side. move silently checks will be needed! ]

[And while they're looking over the hospital hallways, Felicity scanning around trying to see which way they should head first (spot 32). She's also going to start walking casually, like she's totally supposed to be here (bluff 23).]

We should probably head to a locker room or supply closet?

[ a few medical professionals are moving here and there - this definitely doesn't seem to be an area where civilians are supposed to be walking around, but no one really gives them a second look. felicity notices a map on the wall at least, and while it doesn't mark where supply closets are, she does see a locker room on it ]

[astrid has also mastered the art of looking like she belongs in places that she shouldn't be (bluff 27) possibly bc that's how she treats every place. she's basically a cat. she points at the map on the wall after noticing it too probably?? (spot 22)] At least we know where that is. But if we see a supply closet along the way, maybe ...

[Felicity nods, before turning to start to lead the way towards the locker room in question, but it might be best if Astrid takes over at some point because navigation is not her strong suit (navigate 8).]

The locker room will at least give us a place to start.

[she can def take point with her whole nav 14. at least she prob won't lead them into the men's room or something. also she is still keeping her eyes peeled for a supply closet just in case. (spot 31)]

[ too late in that felicity pushes open a door as they're going down the hall and almost gets mowed down by some people bringing in someone on a gurney. one of the nurses gives them a dirty look and looks them over.

"Can I help you find something?" she asks, in the tone of someone who is trying to get rid of you, not help you with anything.

naturally, it's at that point that astrid notices there's a supply closet like right behind said nurse. ]
