The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

Is there a doctor in the building? [ valentin turns to the crowd, raising his voice, and calling out for everyone to hear ] Anyone!

[ "I'm a doctor!" comes a voice near the back of the crowd. the words cause dumage to go rigid beside elena, and she looks over at her like FUUUUUUUUCK HOW DO WE STOP THIS ]

[The look on Hammer's face rn is so horrified, you'd think he's either terrified of being in the same room as Death (he probably is) or Dimitris was one of his dearest friends (his money sure is), so once the doctor in the back yells, Hammer jumps up and points, aggressively passionate about this.] Thank God. He's not dying today!

[Realizing that outburst was way too passionate, he adds, with even more emphasis.] Because it's his wedding day. We're not gonna let that happen.

[ahem.] Can someone, like... comfort the bride? Hysterical women h-have been to known to exacerbate heart problems. [also they make him anxious, but really Amanda, don't fall apart and kill him faster.]

[doubletake]

[Elena prevents herself from looking alarmed, instead speaking over the comms:]

Oh look, there's already a doctor here.

[Someone save them or she's gonna have to do something stupid.]

[ dumage takes hammer's cue, going over to grab amanda by the arm and pull her aside. ] It's fine, the paramedics are coming. [ it's strained, but effective (diplomacy 39) and amanda lets her drag her willingly with her... crit fail will save. ]

[ kitty, maid of honor indeed, moves behind decker, putting a hand on his shoulder, and watching through the crowd for the doctor ] Since when does Sarandis have a heart condition?

[ HO SHIT, THIS FUCKING DOCTOR THO HE GOT A NAT 20 TO PUSH THROUGH THE CROWD. he looks to be about in his thirties and pretty fit so i guess that's why. dr. mcdreamy is here. elena would see him part out of the front of the crowd, just as she hears rose over the comms... ]

This is crazy, right?

[And then she uses that as an excuse to pretend to edge down the aisle, as if trying to get closer and to get a better look, though really she's going to basically check the doctor as he runs past and go down with him. Maybe even keep him on the ground for awhile (touch attack 27, str nat 20, bluff 54).]

[princesmarming]

The doctor! [ as he goes slamming to the floor, checking his head against the tile, ow. he's just moaning in pain under 'lance' here, it's fine. ]

[doubletake]

Shit! Look where you're going! I think you just broke my ankle! Fuck!

[As she looks very convincingly pained, rolling around...basically on top of him. (bluff 54 again).]

[ In comes Buffy from the side door, sneaking enough (move silently 32, hide 31) to hopefully appear like she's coming from among the guests—even if her clothes don't suit it. She moves for Sarandis' side readily through the crowd (str 28) shouting as she tries to get through. ]

It's okay! [ with her bluff of 16 excuse me this is action points o'clock 29, she beelines for him, holding her hands up. ] I can help! But everyone just needs to stand back until emergency services arrive, give him some room! [ diplomacy 38 ]

Move, people! [ decker calls, and the last few people get out of buffy's way. he looks up at her as she approaches: ] You're a doctor?

[ kitty looks up and then does a double take, looking buffy up and down carefully. ]

[Oh for fuck's sake.

Elena gets her ass up off the floor and proceeds to act like the most entitled asshole in this entire room and hobbles over to who she has to assume is Buffy and steps in between Kitty and her, pointing down at her foot.]

Good, then you can take a look at my foot because if I can't walk the runway next week I am screwed.

Nursing school? [ Buffy says the first reasonable thing that comes to mind, but with a question in her voice like pls believe me (bluff 18), turning distracted by Elena like ? ?? ? but she sort of figures it out when she notices Kitty behind her. Oh thank god (wis 19). ] Please, give me just a second. [ And she turns to Sarandis like ok how many medical dramas have I watched. The answer was apparently enough Grey's Anatomy because she rolled knowledge 18. ] I'm gonna need you to tell me if you have any known allergies, then describe what you're feeling for me.

[ decker doesn't seem to think anything weird is going on, because he's busy being like r u for real??? about lance over here, but as dimitris looks up at the "nurse" and her questions, he finds... something very fishy about this whole situation ] What is this? Who is this woman? [ he looks back at kitty like I DO NOT TRUST THIS ]

[bonquas]

[ kitty cuts around 'lance', stepping right in front of buffy at this point. ] I'm going to need some identification. [ there's something more than accusatory in her tone, and that draws decker's attention. ]

[recruited]

[ Steve is first in and honestly it's probably for the best because he's not stopping. Once he hits the crowd he just keeps going (strength nat 20 with 27 total). ] Out of the way. Please. Move. Now. [ Big barreling paramedic Steve coming through in his overly tight uniform. Clearing the people like a human battering ram. Sorta. ]

[Felicity is right behind him, using the pathway that Steve has cleared to get to the heart attack victim. And since people are a mess right now, she's just going wait until they get to the front before glancing at each of the faces and down to Sarandis, not giving anything away at the fact that Buffy is there and she's not supposed to be (bluff 32).]

This the patient?

[astrid follows behind steve with felicity, and immediately barks] Clear the area! We need room. Does he have a history of heart trouble? [and now she's going to take his pulse and blood pressure suck it fuckers.]

[Hooray! Paramedics.

Elena will just reach forward and grab Buffy's arm and starts dragging her away, all while continuing to hobble (str 23).]

Great! Now you can help me like I asked the first time.

[ SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT. Buffy's eyes get wide. But thankfully, the paramedics arrive, and Buffy looks up at the shouting just in time for Elena to drag her away. Stuttering, she assents to examining Lance's ankle and follows Elena's lead. ]

[ on edge now, dimitris affixes felicity with a hard stare, as if he doesn't trust any of y'all bitches now, but he doesn't resist as astrid starts checking his pulse, ordering decker in regards to buffy: ] Don't let her leave! Stop her!
