WHO || Everyone! [ota]
WHAT || Shenanigans. THIS IS MOSTLY AN OVERFLOW POST for the last social log whoops
WHERE || Anywhere in the castle, surrounding environs, London, Andres, etc!
WHEN || Any time in May/June
HOW || Actionspam
[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok. Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies. This takes place after the Knights have returned from Dimitris' wedding.
You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. You can also specify 'single thread', meaning you want only one response for all participants, rather than multi-thread, where a number of different scenes/threads can be done as replies to the top prompt.]

I just hope we did all we could. It's hard to know I left friends behind, not know what happened to them.
no subject
[Really, Syd, you have her deepest sympathies.]
It's tough, leaving people behind, remembering as much as some of us do.

Why not? I know a good deal when I see one.
[ thanks to varric, mostly. and learning what not to do from her nameless deadbeat uncle. ]

Then by all means-- I'm not about to turn down an offer like that. Pals, then.
no subject
Pals it is. [ she smirks in response. ] Suppose that means I'll have to stop by on your karaoke nights.
[ oh no, whatever will she do. ]

That's about the size of it. Reading the future isn't an exact science, but I help set people on their paths, point them in the right direction. I might not see what the end result of a given situation is going to be-- but I can see exactly who a person needs to collaborate with to achieve success.
[Angel and Lindsey come to mind, and he almost immediately wishes they hadn't. His smile flickers, only for a moment, before his game face is on once more (Bluff 29).]
If the interest is there, you bet. Every week might be a bit much for some people, but combat-wise, there's not a lot I can do. I'd like to offer up the talents I do have.

[ The shift doesn't catch her attention, no matter how astute it is. (Sense Motive 22) ]
Gotta say, this place gets more and more interesting.

[It's like having a mystical therapist.]
It does, doesn't it? I think it's growing on me.

I do like to keep my options open. You can't specialize in everything, but there's no denying what even a vague understanding of other disciplines can do for you in your chosen field.
[He shifts his weight in his chair, leaning in her direction as he props his weight against the arm, curious.]
So. What do you do?
no subject
[ His curiosity makes her grin, loving the attention. ]
Self-taught, mostly. Picked up things here and there, but it's more a random grab-bag of crap than any one field. But, I, too, am keeping my options open.

[She cuts herself off, letting out a brief sigh followed by a grateful smile. Declining help has become her default since losing the better part of her arm, but in this, she thinks she can accept it. He's not offering because he's seen her fumble or struggle-- only because he's being kind.]
Yes, thank you. How could I turn away an offer like that?
no subject
Great. I'll grab some supplies and we can get started.

She--
[Knees bending too easily? Well. That's not what Ashe would have expected from Flemeth, from their brief meeting.]
Did she really? I'm afraid she wasn't in such good humor when we met, but the situation didn't allow for it, much.
no subject
[ it's so weird that she can't remember. hawke hates these odd gaps in her memory. these were important events! ]
Given what I've seen of Thedas and Ferelden, I'm not surprised. She said something about us... potentially saving each other's lives. She saved my family and Aveline and then whatever ritual we did may have saved hers.
[ or something. she's not clear on the details and flemeth wasn't forthcoming. ]
She wasn't very talkative about the things that mattered. [ or maybe she was just cryptic. ] What was she like when you met her?
