The brake lines were cut. I had nothing to do with it. I'm pretty sure we'll be safe in a car from the garage. [ speaking of, veering that way. ]

No clue, but I'm sure it was very dramatic and there were car disabling ninjas. If not... I will be more pissed.

Yeah, I would be, too. How common are car disabling ninjas around here, do you think?

Umm, elves exist and gods just go around knocking people up. So I'm gonna go with car disabling ninjas being a totally common thing, but they're ninjas so.... sneaky as fuck.

Sounds like ninjas. [fucking shrug.] Where are we going on this joyride of yours, anyway?

Yeeeeah, I thought that was some pretty flawless logic right there. [ OH LOOK THE GARAGE. now... ] If I were a Mustang where would I be?

[he looks around and ... spots it pretty quickly. (spot 14)] I think it's over there. [motioning toward it now]

You're so handy. [ she traipses over and unlocks it, sliding in to the driver's seat and doing the dance of holy shit the person in here last was a god damn giant please hold while i adjust to the height of an average person and not wynn. ]

[ambitionist]

I try. [he has better luck with the passenger seat, although he does have to put it back a little because he's one of those giant people.] I really ought to take one of these cars out for a ride sometime. It's been months since I drove anywhere.

[ it's been like two weeks for her. she fiddles with the keys before letting out the most dramatic of sighs like this is the hardest thing ever. she dangles the keys in front of him. ] Wanna drive?

[ she's such a sweetie. ]

[THAT WAS NOT HIS INTENT BY SAYING THAT but he's not going to fight against it. he grabs the keys and is over at the driver side like whoosh.] I'd love to.

[ intent or not, his enthusiasm makes her snort out a laugh as she clambers into the passenger seat. ] Consider me your fairy godmother. Springing you from desk duty, giving you a car. Jesus, I'm so kind and generous. [ /AGGRESSIVELY TOOTS OWN HORN. ]

Yeah, you're an angel. [and now he has to readjust the seat for his giant ass self. hashtag tall dude problems.] Back home, I had an SUV. A Nissan Xterra. One of the first gen ones, before they moved from compact to midsize. I practically loved that thing like it was my kid.

Why don't you use your ample pay here to get a new one? I mean, you're not going to be paying for room and board with it.

You do realize I haven't even been here a month, right? Maybe I was planning on it.

Look, I've been away for nine months, how am I supposed to keep track of you people?

Wow, it does sound like that, doesn't it? I was on a mission for the record, not knocked up. [ she shrugs, pulling her sunglasses out of her hoodie. ] Um, Piccadilly Circus? They have a flower shop there and a tea shop with these little cakes? So good.

Sure. [he puts it in the gps and heads out. he drives ... ok. (drive 12) THIS OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD SHIT IS WEIRD OK DON'T JUDGE HIM.] What kind of mission was it?

Did you see that concert last year where the girl got shot?

Uh ... I don't think so. [knowledge: current events (sort of current w/e) 5.] It doesn't sound familiar.

Seriously? [ she's impressed by his lack of knowledge, actually. ] Well, whatever, it was that. There was a trial, it was all very dramatic and life sucking.

[ambitionist]

[HE HAD OTHER SHIT GOING ON OK.] Sounds like a pain. But hey, at least it's over now, right?
