Last I knew, Lis'sa was speculating something regarding parallel universes. All very theoretical, of course.

As parallel universes tend to be. [Helen adds with a nod.] There is some merit to the notion, though. From what I remember from before the Veil, many of the places are the same, yet so very different.

Most seem to be variations on this world, rather than on Faerun, as well.

Yes, far more of a modern twist. It's easier to bring everyone to speed that way, surely, but still an interesting change. Any ideas on what might have spurred that on?

Honestly? I would theorize some kind of massive disruption to the Veil itself. It seems to be working entirely differently than before, which makes it more unpredictable than ever. Assuming it's directly linked to the tide of eldritch energy, I'm not certain what that spells for how long magic will be around this time - or what might happen if it eventually vanishes again.

Could mean anything, really. [Which is both incredibly exciting and down right terrifying.]

There's one of the magi here in the castle. Could be worth it to talk to her about what she knows about the whole thing- at least from the magical side of things.

Yes, I heard something about that. It's... it's true then?

[Helen nods.] Haven't had much time to talk to her myself. But her name is Amara. She's a bit...on edge, from what I've heard. A bit touchy.

[ gar raises an eyebrow ] And Wynn thinks it... wise to keep a ... touchy powerful sorceress here in the castle?

I don't think he had much choice. From what I've heard, the woman was cursed while our knights were on mission. I think they feel as though its their responsibility to set it right.

Understandably, I imagine. I suppose under Wynn's own watchful eye is the safest place for her.

Considering that the way I hear it? The object of her cursed affection is one of our own.

He goes by the name of Charming, I believe. David Charming.

I can't say it rings any bells, but there have been so many squires coming and going since we've been away.

If memory serves, I believe he was squired under Fred. Perhaps he might have more insight on his squire's unfortunate run in with this curse?

I'll have to remember to ask him about it.  I suppose we are rather out of the loop.
