[since coming home, astrid has pretty much tried to ... go back to what she was doing before when she's not off at beyonce concerts. it's another slow ass day in the light wing, so she seems to be the only one there. she's currently lounging on top of a counter, reading a book and eating gummi bears. surely this girl is a real doctor.]

[Des doesn't even live here anymore, but he still stops in to collect people for pancake brunches or pretend he has some semblance of a social life. Unfortunately, since becoming mortal, he's realized there are some really inconvenient, minor disadvantages that outweigh the really big ones.

Like the fact that minor wounds can get infected and shit. Which would suck.

So here he is, ducking into the Light wing, holding his bleeding hand, and yelling back out into the hallway.]
