[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[ while always able to be located in her favorite haunts, the garage (working on her bike) and the training room (working on her force skills), jaina can also be located:

meditating on the roof

in one of the computer rooms, brow furrowed as she searches for anything related to the force, and jedi knights

or tossing back a couple drinks at the bar. ]

[ Sebastian made his way into the bar after he finished watching a few hours of mind numbing shows and was almost tired from the sheer amount of vegging he did. Seeing Jaina he made his way over without asking and sat down next to her.]

Now it isn't. [ she smirks at him, taking a swig. ] Long time no see.

[ He had brought a drink over before he sat, so he smirked a bit at her and nodded.]

Yeah it has, keeping busy?

[ He teased some.]

Sitting around for too long's never been my style.

Nothing wrong with that.

[ He doesn't know or care if he's allowed to smoke in here, he just shakes a cigarette from the pack lighting it.]

So, what kind of adventure's is the boss sending you on?

Pretty morbid ones, lately. The last one involved some men trafficking in body parts to create monsters out of them.

[Shortly after their last set of missions, Miles no doubt runs into her pretty quickly in the garage, considering it's one of his favorite haunts too.]

So what kind of disaster did you have to deal with this time?

[flyingsolo]

[ she looks up, wrench in hand, smirking over at him. she's half caked in grease but yolo. ] Ohh, just some mad scientist collecting body parts to stitch together into monsters.

Wow, like literal Dr. Frankenstein? Brutal.

[The grease just makes her hotter, okay. Truth bombs.]

Doctor who?

He's from a really old book. The guy sews together a bunch of pieces he gets from dead guys, strikes it with lightning, and it comes to life.

It's aliiiiive.

[He does that impression amazingly well, btw (performance 23).]

[ she tries not to laugh but totally fails ] Is there a vid of this story?

[It's probably not surprising that Han mostly sees her in the garage. Like father like daughter. He nods at her as he goes over to the bike he's been working on, looking over her work.]

How's it coming along?

Well, she's not hovering yet. [ she sounds legitimately disappointed ok ] Some days it really hits home how backwater this planet is.

Noticed that, did you? [He gives her a lopsided grin as he sits down on a crate by her.] I've been working on just about the same thing. The flight technology here's about as useful as nerf dung.

Apparently, they made a big deal out of reaching their own moon. [ she just looks at him like RLY. ]

[He snorts, amused.] And that was forty years ago. They still haven't managed to do anything more impressive than that besides sending primitive droids to a few of the closer planets. [He rolls his eyes.] Sending sentients is, apparently, too expensive.

Sometimes it feels a little claustrophobic.

[Aedan is going to seek her out on the roof, because she's probably one of the only people who actually goes up there for anything other than to make repairs or something like that. He's not sure how focused she is at the moment, so whether she can actually sense him coming is anyone's guess but he's going to try and be slick about it, so that he's sitting in front of her (possibly making a funny face) when she opens her eyes. We will let the 19 move silently determine if he's actually successful or not.]

[ she's apparently a million miles away, because when she opens her eyes, they widen for a fraction of a second, before she sticks her tongue out. ] Just how long have you been there?

Long enough to hear your snoring. [Except that was a horrible bluff check, so the fact that he starts laughing about it before he can even finish his answer gives away that he's teasing.]

I know you're well aware I could fling you off this roof with my brain.

Oh, I am. I'm just hoping that your preventing me from falling off a stage before means you have no intention of seeing me do the same from the castle rooftop.
