[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[ when amy returns from her mission, it's with renewed interest in this world and she spends her days pouring over texts in the various libraries about psions and magic and the history that doesn't line up with her own world's.

aside from that, she can be found in the kitchen making cookies (only cookies, always cookies) that she leaves for everyone else or bouncing around the castle being excessively curious and friendly, poking into places she probably shouldn't poke or staring at the murals on the walls by the round table room.

or maybe you run into her contemplating some serious seriousness: ] What about a grenade... full of wasps.

[David will actually seriously consider this with her, just because it's something to do with his brain that's a little more out of the box.]

The problem would be making sure the wasps only went after your target and didn't double back to come after you.

Well, it's a grenade, yeah? You put the nest in the grenade, throw it, and the run like hell. Wasps won't fly too far from their nest to attack, only for food.

[He did not know that about wasps. Most of his experience with bugs has been through Ka Anor, so not exactly the typical bugs.]

That's a pretty big grenade if you're putting a whole nest in it.

One of those little nests, that they build on. It'd have to be 'bout football size to get enough bees though, I s'ppose. Bend it like Beckham across enemy lines though, can you imagine?

[ she obviously means football IN THE PROPER WAY. ]

That sounds more like a bomb than a grenade. But who knows, maybe the Dragon's Fire could come up with some kind of spell to make it more ... portable?

I'm an idea person, I'm not one for actually puttin' it together. That's for other people to deal with. [ she's very good at delegating. all the delegation. ]

I'm sure if you took it to the Hoard, they'd find a way to figure it out.

Depends. [ she leans forward like a lioness about to pounce. ] Know anything about psions?

So is he religious or does he just love the classics? [Kyomi is utilizing her new keycard to check out all the secret places, including the hallway outside the round table room. She wants to get the lay of everything before she actually starts doing actual work.

She pops up behind Amy just in front of the mural in front of the round table room.]

I'm thinkin' he's not a Bible thumper, but you never know about those stern, silent types.

I've not been told off for bein' a wanton hussy. [ considering she's wearing a miniskirt with her converse and ridiculously long legs, if he was a bible thumper, she feels like this would have happened already. ]

[She grins.] Thought I'd never meet another person from Scotland. Barely can find anyone from Europe, considerin' there's an ungodly amount of Americans here. Name's Kyomi, by the by.

[ her nose wrinkles reflexively. ] Lowlands. [ she probably doesn't even speak gaelic, just that rubbish scots. CAN YOU TELL WHERE AMY'S FROM??? it ain't the lowlands.

she'll get to the other bits, but she's too busy being prejudice. ]

Ah right, you dirty highlander. None of that now. [she sticks her tongue out, clearly more amused than anything.] We're both hangin' around the English dogs, after all.

Not that any of the Americans can tell there's even a difference. [ see, she came back to it! ]

Not remotely. I have, however, not heard a bloody one tell me I sound like Sean Connery, and I'm not certain if that's because they're clever or because I don't have a penis.
