[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. I do love sushi. [ she shifts slightly like she's about to leap out of her seat and holler LET'S GO RIGHT NOW but she has a teeny bit more self control than that. ] We didn't have on in town, had to drive all the way to the Old Bell in Gloucester.

That sounds like a nightmare.

Yeah, Leadworth's rubbish. Rory's convinced it's gonna go up market, but he's an idiot.

[ambitionist]

Yeahhhh ... I don't know anything about any of that. I've got a tenuous grasp of London at this point, that's pretty much it.

Doesn't even exist here. All's the better. Gloucester still exists, and the Old Bell, but not Leadworth. Nor Rory's fictional future Upper Leadworth.

[ambitionist]

Gentrification ruins everything, anyway. Your buddy would've been in for disappointment.

[keptbiting]

[ she makes a non-committal noise, getting lost in her thoughts for a moment. she misses rory, but she's not going to shove that on a stranger, she's just going to tuck it away because feelings are for losers. ]

Now I want sushi.

[ambitionist]

Well, I've got some bad news. We're gonna have to go out to London for that.

[keptbiting]

Rubbish. Why's the castle got to be so far from decent take away. [ why is her life so tragic, why everything. why. ]

[ambitionist]

It's the whole secret organization living in seclusion thing.

[keptbiting]

[ whiiiines. ] Suppose London's not too far. Twice as far as the Old Bell was.

[ambitionist]

It's about an hour. At least the drive is nice.

[keptbiting]

[ she ponders this aggressively, looking around her pile of books. ]

Alex, dear, would you like to get some sushi with me?

[ambitionist]

Miss Amy, I would love to take you out for sushi.

[keptbiting]

Perfect. [ she grins and pushes herself out of the chair. ] You can drive. I've gotta grab my wallet, meet me in the garage?

[ambitionist]

Sure, sure. See you there.

[he gets up, too, and goes down to the garage to wait for her. he passes the time by dicking around on his phone like always p much.]

[ a few minutes later she bounds up, plucking at her brightly colored tights and flinging her long hair over her shoulder before she flashes him a smile. ]

Ready to go then?

[ambitionist]

[he smiles back, pocketing his phone and pushing back off the back of his xterra, which he was leaning against.]

Ready. [he does a little vanna white gesture.] This is my car.

[keptbiting]

[ amy looks it over before giving it a noncommittal shrug. ] It's nice.

[ when she glances though the window though... ] Wheel's on the left side. [ ...which is strange since in england, they're on the right. shocking. ]

[ambitionist]

It's an import. I'm American, I like having my wheel in the right place.

[keptbiting]

[ she tuts, smirking, but climbs into the passenger seat without dissent. ] Did you bring it from home? That's darling.

[ambitionist]

Eh, something like that. [the real story is too long to explain so he just lets her believe the abridged version.] I'm really particular about cars.
