[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. [his head jerks around like TOWEL??? WERWATEY??? until his eyes find thea.] Oh, hey. What's up?

Here. [ she tosses him the gatorade. ] You probably need a break.

Nah, I can go a little longer.

You're not going to listen to your Beatrice? [ she tsks, but sits on the bench and leans back like okay loser, go for it. ]

FightCamp's coming up, I wanna be ready.

[withasouvenir]

I know. [ boys. ] Practicing yourself to death might not help. Death like symptoms, I'm told, are bad.

[buttholy]

Oh, come on. I'm fine. [but he'll sit down next to her and drink his gatorade and w/e just to appease her.]

You're all sweaty, you need electrolytes. [ and maybe to take his shirt off but thea knows to keep her mouth shut because he's a delicate flower. so she just thinks it. ]

[he holds up the gatorade bottle before drinking from it.] I'm working on it, geez.

Have you even left the room this week?

[buttholy]

I went back to my room to sleep a few times?

[ DANTE U NEED JESUS. ] You need some sunlight. Let's go outside.

[buttholy]

But — oh, all right.

Don't worry, you can bring your sword. [ aka he can keep practicing, but he's going to do it in fresh air. where it doesn't smell like stale sweat and the persistent, yet vague, scent of blood. ]

[he grabs the scabbard for his sword so he can sheath it and carry it out on his belt.] I like how you think.

I'm not surprised. [ once he seems ready she heads out of the gym. yay it doesn't smell like tina's sexy dance fighting dojo. ]

What's that mean?

I'm still letting you have your way. [ she's just letting him have it outside. ]

Uh-huh. Well, thanks for being so thoughtful.

No prob. Seriously though, a break would do you some good.

Yeah, I know ... [he pulls his arm back into a tricep stretch.] I have a tendency to get laser-focused on things. Not sure if that's a good or a bad quality.

Both, probably. As long as you have someone to pull you back when you get too caught up.
