[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

You are encouraged to start your own threads and tag around, and feel free to threadjack into any on-going threads that aren't specified as 'closed' in the subject lines since people can enter into rooms even in the middle of what's going on. WE ARE BIG ON THREAD-JACKING HERE. Hey, we're still at the bar. I haven't steered you in the opposite direction.

[ dean glances over, if not just because someone was trashtalking his best friend, food. ]

[ She looks around blandly, then shakes her head. ]

I don't even know what I'm looking for here. Do you see him?

[he notices dean on his first precursory glance (spot 19) and nods in that direction.] Sure do.

[ well he definitely hears that ] Somethin' I can help you with?

Howdy. I'm Alex, friends with Lila? [aka the source of all his winchester deets.] This is Skye. [he tilts his head at her.] She wanted to conduct a little impromptu interview with you.

[hacker]

Alex said you had experience with meeting the same person on both sides of the Veil.

[ cuts straight to the chase lovingly. ]

[ ahahahaah he crit fails and his entire face clouds. he sets his beer down and says: ] Yeah. I do. [ then pushes back off his stool and steps away from the bar. ] Interview over.

Well, that was enlightening. [said with all the intonation of somebody who doesn't actually give a shit. this was skye's wacky misadventure, ok.]

[ She throws a look back at Alex and scoffs with indignation, then hurries after Dean. ]

Hey! Wait! come on, did I say something wrong?! I'm sorry! [ JOGS AGGRESSIVELY TO GET IN FRONT OF HIM then wheezes because wow she's not in shape. ] I'm sorry. I didn't know it was a touchy subject. Look, let me make it up to you, I'll — [ Well, they're probably not buying drinks, but here she is waving at the bar. ] ... Make you a drink.

[ seriously oh my god he stares down at her like r u srs rn get out da way ] Yeah, well I'm telling you now. It's an off limits subject.

Might wanna tell that to the rest of the castle, buddy. [dramatizing. just a little bit tho.]

[ ELBOW TO THE RIBS, ALEX. ]

What Alex is trying to say ... [ She clears her throat, drumming up a smile. ] Is that we're sorry. We didn't realize. I'm not ... trying to get anything out of you, I'm trying to apologize. Seriously. [ She gestures back to the bar. ] At least give me the chance to salvage your night after I crashed in like Miley Cyrus' Wrecking Ball video to emotionally scar you.

[ /looks between them like SQUINT ] ... Fine. I'll take the drink.

[ambitionist]

[alex does not look particularly sorry, but he goes over to take a seat at the bar.]

[ Skye will just invite herself behind the bar to start mixing drinks. It looks like she's done this before. When you're a poor hacker, you do a lot of odd jobs. Please don't make me roll craft booze. ]

I'm Skye, by the way. And new, in case that wasn't totally obvious. [ She puts three glasses up on the bar. ] So what do you drink?

Kentucky Whiskey. [ pure class over here ]

[he quirks an eyebrow at skye as if to say "wow what redneck class tho." not that he's much better since he drinks like a frat boy — ] Jager for me.

[ Well, I rolled a 10. God bless a high af int score. So it's exactly what you would expect from some random person being like HERE LET ME FIX YOU A DRINK. And it's mostly because she's sharing that look with Alex while she pours Dean's shit over ice and slides it over. There is no skill involved in either of these things, but she will hook Alex's shot of Jager up with a pint of beer from whatever's on tap, so there's that. Just in case.

And then she'll grab herself a bottle of beer from the cooler and pop the cap off, leaning on the counter. ]

Bottom's up. [ She raised her bottle to them. ]

[ he takes the drink and tips it half-heartedly towards them, before downing it. he doesn't initiate any further conversation though, just enjoys his redneck whiskey and waits for y'all to say something less offensive. ]

[he doesn't feel like saying anything though. THIS WAS NOT HOW HE WANTED TO SPEND HIS DAY. just gonna drink his drink, son.]

[ Skye manages to stay quiet as long as it takes her to take one sip of beer, mull it over, and gulp it down. She glances between them, then offers Dean a curious, ] So ... What sect are you with?
