[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. [he heard the sounds of the television late into the evening while he was walking the castle. He was still getting used to the accommodations, and sleep sometimes took time to meet him. He followed the sounds to see the blond woman watching the television and he tilted his head as there were sharks being sucked up into a tornado. Finally, he just shook his head.]

That is very unrealistic. Even for fiction.

That's why it's so good! [ she twists around to look up at him. ] Alex says it's truly cinema at it's finest.

I have seen some films in my travels. This does not look to be one of the greats.

Um, it is. [ ur wrong sir. ] Sharknado and it's complex sophomore companion Sharknado 2 are cinematic masterpieces.

And what is it about them that makes them great. [he shifts to sit on the arm of the couch]

I don't know, they just are!

Then I guess I will have to watch and see for myself. If you don't mind the company, that is.

Sure. [ once she's sure he's not going to insult her movie more, she smiles, friendly. ] Who are you?

I am called Baal. And you? [he will do his best not to insult her movie. Debate the physics and ponder what drugs were smuggled into the writer's room, yes, but not insult]

My name's Kali. Skittles? [ she holds out her bag of wild berry skittles. to share. ]

Oh yes, please. They are little tiny circles of happiness. [he grinned as he held his hand out for her to pour some for him]

So how long have you been here?

[felidity]

10 months and 19 days. [ wow, it's almost been a year, she's so proud of herself and she puffs up, satisfied. ]

That has been awhile. Anything that you know a newcomer should be aware of?

[felidity]

Um. [ she thinks, hard. ] No?

[ ah, she's such a helpful little creature. ]

[and that leaves him... not knowing what else to say. So he's just going to nod and return his attention to the television, eating his skittles one at a time because they are very sweet]

[ after a few minutes, she sheepishly admits: ] I'm not a very good conversationalist.

No, it is fine. Conversation is an art form not all are accustomed to.

I'm not very good with any art, yet.

[byyourleave]

But that is always something you can change with practice. That is how I learned.

Did you steal it to look at it up close?

[ you never know with knights tbh. ]

[he laughed at that] No, but I did get slapped a lot. So it is true that art is painful to learn.

[felidity]

[ she grins, even if she doesn't fully get it. ] I guess so.

But you need to get a few slaps before you get other things, if you know what I mean. [he smirks playfully]

[ so. as it turns out. kali does not know what he means so she looks at him like... ]
