[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[ i literally waited until i knew what the baby looked like to tag this, i'm very committed. anyway vi sleepily wanders into the kitchen to get some juice with lucia tucked in the crook of her arm and literally misses the fact that rafael is there completely, assuming buffy is talking to herself, i guess.

ukw that's not the weirdest thing they've been through, talking to yourself is pm normal. ]

Now there's an idea. [ Buffy grins viciously at Rafael as if she's dead set on Vi being her co-conspirator in this. ] I don't know, though. The helmets might chafe around the ears. Maybe we should try like an eye mask only.

At least she has brought the bambino, who cannot tease me this way. [ he grins widely at the channel, abandoning his task to go see the baby because bb!! ]

I dunno know, she's pretty magical, who knows what she's capable of. [ but she hefts lu up so she can look at him with her bright eyes, hands flailing aimlessly like bbs do. if raf looks like he's open to holding her, vi will happily pass her glowbug over. ] But I'm sure she'll be nice to her Zio Rafael. She loves Aunt Buffy already. Got a thing for blondes, I think.

[ uh he will totally hold her if she lets him, and the baby's gonna love him b/c he got a handle animal 20 (not natural but still). he's good with kiddos ok. ] I do not know who would not. [ HI BB he is just gonna grin at her widely with an adoring look in his eyes. the bb, not buffy. i mean he does that too sometimes. ]

Bad guys, but they have shitty taste in friends. [ baby free she sags into one of the stools by the counter, grabbing a veggie and gnawing on it, letting raf and buffy be adorable. ] Penso che le piaci. Si dovrebbe avere dodici.

She will be ten soon. Our kind grow physically much as humans do, but they will be considered as children for longer than humans would.

[ she gives her head a little shake, refocusing on raf holding lucia. ugh so precious. UGH STOP. ] So mentally and emotionally, because you guys live for so much longer, that maturity comes later? Wait, who is Giulia? Why are we friends with an almost ten year old?

Ohh. [ she wishes she could pick giulia's parents' brains or could have when she was pregnant but whatever, she can pick rafael's brain now. ] Guess that explains why I'm basically a twelve year old still.

[ GONNA LIVE FOREVERRRRRRRRRRRR. at least she's self-aware and knows when to rein it in. and that boundless, youthful hope and optimism is all that gets her through being a widowed mother to an infant. it isn't constant, but it's enough to keep her alive.
