[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

[Cora is mostly an outsider on the Gold situation as far as she knows. Mostly her investment is in Belle and Henry more than anything else. So she's been swinging by his room every so often, taking the time to get familiar with his scent so that if she needs to she can find it, but the scents are getting older the longer this goes on, which is only really making it harder.

Still, she's determined to help in whatever way she can. If Gold really has all this power that Neal and Henry seem to indicate that he does, then the sooner they find him and get him back on point, the better.

It's on one of those swings by that Cora finds Faye breaking into Gold's room. She hesitates for a moment, before going for confrontational first - that's just how she rolls.]

What are you doing?

[reallywicked]

None of your business. [Faye snaps back, not bothering to look up. She's also confrontational, especially about this. She doesn't even notice that it's Cora yet. If she did, she might be slightly less snappy.]

[Her eyebrows go up a bit at that, before she tips her head to the side.]

Because it looks like you're breaking into someone's room.

And it's still none of your business. He's a friend of mine. I left something in there.

[She didn't. And a bluff 19 is really low for her ouch.]

[Yeah, Cora sees right through it (sense motive 22). She crosses her arms in front of her chest, before leaning against the door jamb.]

He hasn't been in there in a while. Are you sure you left it there?

[reallywicked]

[She turns and then actually sees that it's Cora and looks slightly less irritated.]

Look- I'm trying to track him down, okay?

[impetere]

[Cora's brow furrows for a moment, mostly because she didn't know that Faye and Gold knew each other, but she gets less on the attack, if nothing else.]

Have you talked to Belle? She's worried about him too.

[reallywicked]

Yeah, I talked to her. [More like yelled at her.] She's not going to do anything, though. Last I knew, she was just crying about it. That doesn't help anyone.

[impetere]

[Maybe it doesn't help anyone but at the same time she's not going to throw Belle under the bus when Gold was the one being shady. Then again, she doesn't even know who Gold is, really, beyond the abstract.]

Did she tell you what happened?

Just that he left. [She might have said more, but Faye was way too angry about it, way too quick to blame Belle for not stopping it.]

So I took matters into my own hands. [And got glados on the case. Such a winner, this one.]

[Yes, Faye, that's exactly what you should do. Sigh.]

So breaking into his room, that's your master plan.

[It's clear Cora doesn't think it's a very good one, and she's not exactly doing anything to hide that either (diplomacy 4).]

He left for a reason.

[She gives Cora a sharp look.]

A reason? Like what?

[DO YOU KNOW SOMETHING?]

[YES, SHE DOES, BUT SHE DOESN'T WANT TO BREAK BELLE'S CONFIDENCE SO SHE'S ... not going to say anything specific.]

Maybe there was something he needed to sort out. Without other knights around.

You know something, don't you? What is it? [Her voice have a threatening edge (intimidate 25)]
