[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

Predictably, for somewone who's never bowled a day in his life, the ball veers to the side and ends up in the gutter.]

[Honestly, with Emma, any romantic advances that aren't met with a punch can be seen as a win. He doesn't take her shoulder again, but he does keep following her.]

You can't sleep while in that form? [He sounds more honestly curious than like he's disagreeing.] What do you do all night?

[ that's the only thing that's been keeping vi moving forward. she's winging it, she has no idea what she is doing, but she just has to know that it's going to work out.

she lost her parents, but it led her to the legion. she lost jess, in a way, but it led her to the knights. she lost jade, but it lead her and luthir to marry. she lost luthir, but he gave her lucia. maybe it's because of who vi's mother is, but knowing something good will come out of whatever awful they're faced with is the only thing that keeps her going. spring always comes. ]

[Des looks utterly stricken by her words, a look of surprise that turns into mounting horror crossing his face. He's quiet for a beat too long and with his hands on her shoulders, she can almost feel the way they shake before he pulls them away.]

You're starting to sound like me before... [he swallows, rubbing a hand over his face and through his hair.] It's not fair, is it? You're supposed to endure all this crap, and come out of it hoping for the best. Forgiving the world for what it handed you... How can anyone blame you for thinking like that? Why would anyone blame you? Oh, Myri... [he swallows again, grimacing.] I never wanted you to get like this. I'm sorry.

Yeah. I, uh, dropped out of high school, actually. [ So that's not the easiest analogy for her to grasp. But she nods. ] I get what you're saying, though.

About magic? No. That was never really my thing. I deal in computer systems. Technomages are, like, my archnemesis. But I take the truth and freedom of information pretty seriously.

Haven't gotten to use it yet, for obvious reasons. [ and because she uses a bow 99% of the time. ] So hopefully it'll last longer when I actually need it.

[The words make her flinch. She's been thinking a lot about how she messes with powers she doesn't really understand. Jordan, for one. And her last mission just kept making her think about her choices, about what sort of person she wanted to be.]

[She lets out a frustrated huff of a noise. She's not good at this.]

[ i literally waited until i knew what the baby looked like to tag this, i'm very committed. anyway vi sleepily wanders into the kitchen to get some juice with lucia tucked in the crook of her arm and literally misses the fact that rafael is there completely, assuming buffy is talking to herself, i guess.

ukw that's not the weirdest thing they've been through, talking to yourself is pm normal. ]

[Sam seems to have really settled into life at the Castle, fully embracing it as his home now that his brother seems to have done the same.

His typical haunts include the library, the shooting range, and the castle grounds where he jogs every morning. It's easy enough to find him in the hallways or the eating areas from time to time obviously, too.

Jeanne Gar. [ she smiles with another apologetic note to it ] Sometimes I'm amazed by how I used to know so many people in this castle and now so many faces are strange to me.

[ Steve's looked into a lot of the stuff he missed while taking an ice nap, but apparently he neglected stuff like this. ]

I wasn't very good with physical activity back in school. I definitely wouldn't have got to thirty-seven back then.

[ Steve finally stops with the continuous sit-ups and just sits there for a moment. He takes a deep breath before pushing up onto his feet. ]

Steve Rogers. So you're pretty big on endurance huh? That's good. It's smart.

It's possible that Thor found a way to detain Loki. He wouldn't just let him wander around. He likely took him back to Asgard.
