The morning after, the Knights board a plane at their private airfield, and begin the couple hour flight to the country of Slovechnia.  Wynn has laid out a plan for them as such, leaving Sir Gar in charge of seeing it executed:  they are to send in a few Knights to infiltrate the wedding, while others steal an ambulance from a local hospital.  Using magic to make Sarandis think he's having a heart attack during the ceremony, they will intercept the outgoing call to the paramedics, and pose as them to take him out of there and straight to a private airfield to meet with Wynn.  They're all aware, however, of just how smoothly their plans tend to go where these villains are involved - especially if the Mind Master shows up.  

Either way, it promises to be an interesting day...

[astrid doesn't look thrilled about magic ... especially kat's magic ... but it's probably the best idea so she lets it happen.] We're stealthy, right? And if we're grabbing uniforms, it's already plausible enough that we wouldn't be wearing them. Splitting up should be okay.

[Des looks over at Kat] You want me to distract the guards? 'Cause I can do that. At least that way we don't have to have 'em report a stolen ambulance when we drive off the lot with it.

Best of both worlds. [he gestures between Kat and Felicity] Stealth and bullshitting.

I was thinking we'd just use the spell to get inside, and then make with the stealth and bullshitting.

That works for me too.

[Ether way, going fifty-fifty on things seems like the best choice for all of them.]

Get in, get the uniforms, and con our way out.

[Des nods.] Let's do it.

[ kat flicks her cigarette out a window as felicity finishes scoping out the scene. there's only one guard visible in the shack, but plenty of foot traffic on the sidewalk in front of it. the guard seems bored out of their mind, and she's half occupied on her phone. a camera is attached to the roof of the guardhouse, pointed to survey anything exiting. ] It's not going to make us silent, by the way. But there's plenty of noise from the cars, so hopefully that'll cover us. [ with that, she pushes the door open to get out. ]

[Felicity nods in agreement as she starts to get out of the car.]

I only see one guard, and she seems to be pretty dedicated to her phone at the moment. And the security camera is catching people exiting, not entering.

I'll fritz it out when we're exiting. You guys will just have to distract the guard long enough for an ambulance to get driven out. But one thing at a time. [ she reaches up and plucks one of her eyelashes, pulling a roll of tape out of her pocket and pulling off a piece to stick the eyelash on. ] Need one from all of you. Let's go.

[Des blinks at her and then proceeds to pinch the edge of his eyelid.] Okay, but if I wake up tomorrow with a sharp pain in my side 'cause you decided to take up voodoo, I'm gonna be pissed.

[Felicity squints a bit until she snags one of her lower eyelashes and hands it off to Kat without a word. Though she's side eyeing Des a bit that that's his first thought. Why is voodoo your first thought, Des?]

[astrid looks thoroughly affronted bc OMG YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE HER RUIN HER MASCARA but she obliges, delicately rubbing at the corner of her eye with her thumb and index finger until an eyelash comes free. and also, bc judging des is way too easy:] Spell components.

[Des rolls his eyes as he coughs up his eyelash.] I lived in New Orleans for a long time. Trust me. I've heard "spell components" used as an excuse before.

[he was also kidding, for the most part, which is why he gives Kat a pained look.] And Tex and I have a complicated relationship that occasionally requires a certain amount of pain. Ain't that right?

[shootfirst]

It's in his contract. [ stickin all yer eyelashes to this tape, it's fine. then she waves her hand over it, mumbles some latin...

and away they fade. they're still able to see themselves, at least. move silently checks plz! ] Alright, stay close.

[allmydreams]

[And Felicity will nod and just trot along quietly after like the true cat burglar she is (move silently 32), keeping an eye out for any unnoticed trouble on the way (spot 16).]

[Yeah, for all that Des is a master of big and loud, he has surprisingly light footsteps. (move silently 22)]

[astrid isn't a ninja, but she's not clomping around, either. (move silently 21) she is also keeping her eyes open for stuff and things. (spot 21)]

[ kat's really the clomper of this bunch lbr, and with a move silently 16, she's definitely the loudest of them all. they make their way towards the lowered barrier, and one by one duck underneath it or squeeze beside it. astrid keeps an eye on the guard, and as kat approaches, she lowers her phone for a moment, glancing up as if she heard something--

but kat freezes, noticing the movement, and after another second, the guard frowns and goes back to her candy crush.

the parking garage stretches out before them - it's only two stories, and the entire ground floor is full of ambulances. astrid notices that there are more cameras here and there down the length of ambulance row, and about halfway up to the right, there's a pair of double doors that lead into the hospital proper. there are a few people heading out towards ambulances right now, and the back of the vehicle right across from the doors is open, two paramedics re-upping supplies inside. ]

[des notes the open ambulance and taps Kat on the shoulder, gesturing to fingers towards it. that one's probably their best bet.]

[Felicity follows Des' gesture and nods - it could be, they just have to get the current paramedics claiming it away from it. She turns towards the double doors, before pointing and mouthing "uniforms?"]

[ kat nods at them both, gesturing to felicity and astrid to head inside to get those. her and des can handle these clowns, surely. ]

[des looks pretty confident about that plan, anyway. Let's be... Morally ambiguous heroes (unsure)]

[with kat's go-ahead, astrid starts heading towards the double doors, still being quiet and cautious. ]

[Felicity is not that far behind her, also being quiet and cautious and keeping an eye out for where they need to go.]

[ kat and des are going to have to follow them close to the doors so that they don't pop out of the invisibility bubble while they're still outside, and when they all get close, the doors open in response to them since they're not invisible to ... sensors. there are a couple people coming down the white interior hall towards them, however, and one of the paramedics at the ambulance glances over at the doors that just seemed to open for no reason and frowns. ]
