chicago ♔ give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough

♬ blood - my chemical romance
WHO || Rose, Dimitri, Amrita, Lila, Aurelius, Tia, and Eric [closed]
WHAT || Investigating the crime scenes
WHERE || The alleys of Chicago, IL
WHEN || April 5th [ backdated ]
HOW || Actionspam
The Knights split up, Tia taking Rose, Dimitri, and Amrita in the rented vehicle towards two of the more distant sites from the hotel, while Eric leads Aurelius and Lila through the back alleys of the city to somewhere nearby. It's late by now, and Chicago is alive with the sights and sounds of nighttime in the distance. A light rain falls, dripping off the overhangs of the roofs above and pooling against the sidewalks.

His attentiveness increases further as they turn down the side street, unsure as to how much farther they'll be going, but wanting a good view of the entire area before they even think of exiting the car.]

So how exactly are we planning to do this? [Peering into the front at Tia.] We split up and meet up again by the car when we're done?

[ Seriously Rose she thinks of you as a friend now, you better not let her down by getting yourself dead.
Because if you do she'll... clone you or something and then kill you again. ]

[Dimitri is always careful. He moves to the door, preparing to exit, saying one more thing over his shoulder.]
You two, as well.
[And then there's a quick glance out the window before opens the door and leaves the car, knowing that Rose will be flanking him shortly.]

She doesn't care about the rain, her coat of choice is a trench so she's relatively dry with her hands shoved in her pockets, but she doesn't care about her hair getting wet anyway.]
Intrepid Knight, where exactly are we going?
no subject
no subject
Yeah. And considering I'm not exactly knowledgeable about Chicago's red light district, the question still stands. Let me rephrase: how much further do we have to walk?
[Butthead.]

Brainless? Well, I guess you're safe then. [She turns to Aurelius, flicking some hair out of her face.] I'm on the fence with you.

What happened?

We found a body, but we weren't alone, there were others there... I never saw them, and when Tia told me to go I jumped through a window and just took off. I don't know what's happened to her but we have to do something.

DRAMATIC CONCLUSION ♣ rose, dimitri, lila, dean, davin (and sylar~)
davin scowls, rain running from his hair down his nose as he looks across at it, shoving his hands in his pockets. dean looks incredulous, glancing at the vampire as if for confirmation. ]
Little cliche, don't you think?

[There was something to be said about hiding in plain sight.]
We should being before anyone has a chance to notice us.
/guess who thought she'd tracked this but hadn't
Five people standing on the street in the rain? That's not obvious at all.
[And for those sharing the link, somebody clearly thinks this was way too many people for an undercover mission.]
What can we expect when we walk in there?
no subject
An offer we can't refuse. A gun in the toilet. Frank Sinatra on the stereo. All the Goodfellas stereotypes you can imagine. [She peels her rain damp gloves off, tucking them into the pockets of her coat.] Or more likely someone's watching the game with a glass of wine and we're about to interrupt. Even odds, I'd imagine.
[She fidgets restlessly. CAN THEY JUST GO IN PLEASE. She might not want to have to work with Rose, but girl can't resist organized crime. It's her catnip, as much as she may verbally abuse their stereotypes.]

"If you're lucky, Corsone won't be around. But if you see anything big, strong, and vaguely minotaur-shaped, we aren't so lucky. He has two of 'em as guards: the Kuzzer brothers, they're called. There's usually one of 'em watching the front entrance inside, when he's at the warehouse."
dean doesn't even wait to hear the tail end of that, striding straight towards the doors, and offering one piece of advice to the crew: ] Minotaurs hunt by scent. So don't bother trying to hide if things get hairy.
