Last April, a kindly book seller and purveyor of magical lore found himself the victim of an attack via mail when dangerous magical creatures were sent to his shop from the untraceable sender "PTC".  Since then, Wynn's been tracking the mail system, waiting for that name to pop up again, in case it might lead them to find out who was behind the first attack, and stop any other disasters from occurring.  Recently, something popped up on the radar, so the Knights have to find a way into the exclusive restaurant the Spider's Web in Manchester, or its attached nightclub The Lagoon Club.

[ first thing's first: the team has to make plans for how they plan to get into the club at all, with its reservations booked out for weeks. after wynn leaves them alone, cordelia turns to bambi, arms folded ] You said you knew a way to get us in?

[After parting ways from the rest of the group and heading towards the bathroom. As they go, she'll keep an eye out for a way into the back end of the club, as well as keeping an ear out for anyone following them (spot 20 total, listen 23).

[ cordy, bambi, and phineas head down in the elevator, and the doors slide open onto a raised platform inside a huge cavern that stretches in all directions. columns of natural rock separate the tiled floor from the stalactite-covered ceiling overhead. an ornate bar wraps around one column, white tables and chairs and a large dance floor surrounding a portion of a beautiful underground lagoon. soft light emanates from recessed rocks and glowing strands of spider web decorate the rock ceiling.

kate and alisha approach from the area to the right of the elevator as the doors slide open, and they're all greeted with the sight of what's going on in the club.

screaming patrons are running to the corner of the rooms, trying to get out of the way of a monster that has seemingly emerged from the underground lagoon, giving by how wet it is. it's hard to see for a moment as it rapidly moves through the room, knocking over tables, swiping its claws at customers, and snapping its jaws at anyone it can get close to, but when they do get a good look, it's unmistakably a young black dragon. the drow gunman is visible across the room with a spot check of 15, having hidden behind a table that he's using for cover. ]
