While scams about genetically modified corn wouldn't normally fall under the purview of the Knights, the US Federal Bureau of Investigation has called in assistance from Wynn because of reports of the two agents investigating the matter running into some sort of Shadowkind that attacked them at the silos containing the corn in question.
The Knights fly out to Tennessee to check out the situation, and Christos drives them directly towards the silos in question, which are three lonely, old looking structures set in the middle of a field far away from any other civilization.

Hell if I know, but hey, we might be able to see the stars.

Right we are then. America! Shouldn't there be flags? They do like their flags, don't they.

[ he makes a show of checking his pockets. ] Pond, did you pack your wits?
[ he gives her a grin and pulls his sonic out, tossing it once. ]
Could do, yeah. Depends what we're looking for though, hard to narrow it down otherwise. It'll just find stuff.

Should I have a cover name? I should probably have a cover name. Something cool like Storm or Mr Bread. Wait, no that's rubbish isn't it? Forget the bread one.

"I, uh, of course. Did ... did I miss a call?" ] We were in the neighborhood, and were hoping to settle this matter swiftly. [ christos' crit fail bluff check means that he's not even pretending to be an irs agent in bearing, i guess, instead he's staring the man down like he might have to kill him, which is his usual demeanor, tbh. ]

What my unsocial colleague means -- [ she spares a glance at christos like could you be less rude and fucking churlish please????? ] -- is that we'll try to be as quick as possible. Would you mind if we came in?
[ if he wants to leave christos outside, amy won't mind. ]
