[ The castle can be a happening place, even on more mundane days. This log is for random interactions over the course of these few months. Because not everyone is into parties, ok.   Characters participating in the following missions are asked to wait until their missions have concluded before tagging into things that take place chronologically after said missions:  Dead of Winter, Curse of the Homo Magi, Ravenloft, Shadow Bermuda, and City of Blood  If you aren't certain if that applies to you, please ask!  Characters who are not currently squired in may also post, as their characters are living in the castle awaiting their ceremonies.

She misses him so widely that he doesn't even bother to move, just sighs heavily as he watches her swing fly past him. "Come on, focus. It's not like I'm a small target." It's dry, but it's not cruel. He knows she can do better than that.

[ raf raises one eyebrow but keeps his expression pretty neutral as he glances over at buffy ] Sam, is it? [ HE REMEMBERS THAT NAME ]

At least she has brought the bambino, who cannot tease me this way. [ he grins widely at the channel, abandoning his task to go see the baby because bb!! ]

[David watches her closely, making sure she doesn't push herself to the point of hurting herself. He knows that something is bothering her, and he can hazard a guess as to what it is, because it intensifies with each mission she comes off of, but they're making progress, slowly but surely.]

Remember, protect your face.

[David nods once in agreement, though he's not sure how it'd handle in practice.]

[ dean glances over, between sam and the beer, and there's that moment of tension where it's clear that all his instincts are fighting against just letting anything so normal happen, but that he's reminding himself of all the reasons he should. ] ... Yeah, sure. Gimme one of those.

[Cora doesn't necessarily jog every morning, though she does take her dog for a walk. She tries to go early before the joggers are out, mostly because Bernie sees someone running and will occasionally try and chase them. This is partially Cora's fault - when she does go jogging, she lets him chase her - but she's trying to break him of the habit when it comes to the other knights.

So when he sees Sam running past them, Cora manages to catch his collar before he takes off (handle animal 22), but he does get off a woof! in Sam's direction to draw his attention.]

Hey, Sam.

[Back to the dog.]

[which he does with a huff.]

[She will. Eventually. But right now she's in overprotective girlfriend mode.]

Have you seen one of the clerics?

[Cora does as requested, before moving to sit on the floor across from her, crossing her legs under her as she settles.]

I heard you had the baby.

[She holds up the wolf.]

I figured everyone would be getting her teddy bears.

[Bernie is personally thrilled to be swallowed by the dog posse. He looks a little confused at first, but it's not long after before he's sniffing butts and getting friendly and generally looking very pleased. Cora also doesn't seem bothered, glancing over at Will with a small smile.]

Don't worry about it. He could use some canine friends.

[Shit. As Bernie investigates Hawley's hand and decides that he does not have anything interesting, nor does he seem to be a threat, Cora rolls her eyes.]

My friends are just fond of pop culture references. I've been watching a lot of movies to try and ... figure out what they're talking about.

I dunno know, she's pretty magical, who knows what she's capable of. [ but she hefts lu up so she can look at him with her bright eyes, hands flailing aimlessly like bbs do. if raf looks like he's open to holding her, vi will happily pass her glowbug over. ] But I'm sure she'll be nice to her Zio Rafael. She loves Aunt Buffy already. Got a thing for blondes, I think.
